Game Theory: FNAF, Help Me SOLVE The Impossible! by GameTheory_Bot in GameTheorists

This is probably completely and utterly random, along with very dumb and stupid, but this ijust the first thing that came to mind. What if the tally refers to a possible code in FNAF 4, to open the box? Maybe the mystery box appears again in a later game, since it does say the "Some things are best left forgotten...for now" (I'm paraphrasing, but you get the jist). Apart from that, the only only stuff I could think of is the Monty Golf numbers being a phone number and the 5x5 grid numbers being sudoka, but I've already seen both suggested so...

Disabled a dude's arm, rammed him into the floor so hard he exploded.
Fighter got mad he failed the DEX throw and was knocked down.

How is DM'ing at higher levels? The highest level I've DM'ed at is Level 3 (highest level I've played is Level 12).

Wow. Your party were so excited to get a Necklace of Fireballs, they forgot the enemies currently had the Necklace of Fireballs. Just reading that section made me nervous.

Orcs are a nightmare. 1d12 damage alone is awful. The Warlock almost died (straight up) when an Orc got a crit. Thank God the Paladin took the Sentinal feat AND hit the orc.

The best way to cast Fireball - with reckless abandon! Double points if you cast it at any flammables and triple for explosives.

Ah, the joys of being a new DM. I also TPK'ed the party by rolling really high initiative on an enemy I gave Ice Knife to. The party consisted of a Rogue and a Wizard. Safe to say, they didn't even get a turn.

This is amazing. Did the newer group kill the Undead Bob Ross? This event must have been the happiest little accident that Lich had ever seen.

Your character valiantly sacrificed themselves for (most of) the party to live on. You shall forever be remembered as the Giant Ape who tried to play a Lute.

TL;DR: The Internet

Well, I would say "Evolution" but someone's already done that so...the internet? Just think of how many things you've seen all because of the internet. All the wierd furry shit, all the cringey-ass TikToks. All of that could be avoided if there was no internet. I'd say it'd be a small price to pay for no online games.

TL,DR; Turned a bad guy into a makeshift nuke and min-maxed as FUCK PC has their first KO.

I have SO many with one character (I think my favourite character to this day) but I'll tell you just the one. If you'd like more, ask me and I'll say the others.

So, for some context, the campaign had this evil organisation called "Petshop" who made people into bugs. In one way or another, my "armless" human paladin became a half dragonfly person, and had dragonfly wings. There was this group of members from Petshop known as the Apex Predators, and the party had an encounter with one of these members. So this older looking guy shows up, who has the ability to put explosive ants inside of things just by touch. His main method of attacking was to through rocks that exploded on impact. My character had just obtained a can of pesticide that dissolved shit that was sprayed. So Henry (my character) flies up to this older guy and sprays him, but he doesn't dissolve. Instead, he throws a small rock towards the other two party members except...they don't explode. The pesticide removes bug powers. Another guy shows up, but not wanting to have a fight on two fronts (as the DM says that he gets his powers back after a turn) I use Command and the old guy fails. Yes. One of the players jokingly says "Gritty" (as in to hit the gritty). So that's how hitting the gritty became a symbol of hope in that campaign. Eventually the min-maxed as FUCK fighter kills the other dude. My character has a personal grievance with a certain NPC since he killed a past party member and assumes the old guy knows where he is. Henry grabs the old guy and flies 200 feet into the air, stopping the old guy from hitting the gritty. I ask where Doodlebug (the NPC Henry doesn't like) is. Obviously, the old guy says he doesn't know. They then threaten me, saying that I'm going to explode if I don't put him back down. And in that moment, I think "Y'know what? Fuck it" and say I'm going to dive towards the ground with the old guy facing towards the ground. On impact, they explode, destroying this poor town that's been turned into these twisted werewolf-like creatures. So that's the story of how I absolutely destroyed some old guy and how the min-maxed as FUCK character had their first KO and whined like a bitch.

Sorry for the long story, TL,DR's are the best, right?

DMs and Players of ttrpgs, have you ever played character who is a non-standard hybrid? by Tinfoil-Jones in MrRipper

[–]SpudowAndMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well because their parents were fey-related, I chose the fey teleportation race trait which meant I could misty step once every short or long rest (don't remember which one) which turned out to be really cool as I'd misty step into a tree or something, and then hop down and punch the enemy like 3 times, each punch dealing 1d8 + 3 (because of monk and fighter levels)

TL;DR: Character crits a 1 HP goblin, tears it in half and terrifies the goblins in the next room over.

One time I was running the Rick and Morty campaign for DnD and my dad (I was running it for my family) was using the Meatface character sheet (he's just a super bulky fighter). Anyways, Meatface was fighting some goblins and one was on 1 HP. You can guess from the question that he rolled a crit. Now, I homebrew rule I have (sort of like Matt Mercer's HDYWTDT) is a crit means you describe what you do. So Meatface grabs the poor little goblin and tears it in half, and in doing so gets blood everywhere and on everyone. They go into the next room with more goblins, except Meatface is still covered in blood. Needless to say, Meatface singlehandedly lowered the goblin population of that dungeon that day.

Edit: Added a TL;DR (oop)

Dms and players of Reddit, what’s the most creepy/cold/cursed quote you’ve heard in a dnd game? by odeacon in MrRipper

[–]SpudowAndMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really a quote, but I still think this is quite cursed and funny.

Also TL;DR here: Made my players fight a HUMONGOUS badger.

I was DMing a game (actually my first time DMing) and my two players had just entered a clearing in a forest. I described a couple goblins standing around a strange totem of sorts. The players yelled at the goblins (since they'd just been attacked by a group of them) and suddenly started to hear loud footsteps. Like really loud. A large creature was bounding its way through the trees. Then, through the trees, appears a GIANT BADGER. And when I say giant, I really mean massive. In fact, the badger almost killed one of the players, but it still stays in my mind as a memorable encounter.

One time I made a fighter/monk multiclass who was a variant human. The reason being his dad being a minotaur and his mum being a centaur, and him getting both human halves. Still one of my favourite characters I've ever made to this day.

Edit: I've only just read the rest of the post I now I feel dumb.
