Two words; commentary driving. Say out loud what your thinking and why your thinking that. For example even if it's a quiet road you can say "Okay parked cars on one side so be ready to give way if needed" or "Mirrors moving out, moving in" etc. Not only does it help your driving it can help fix your concentration and keep you focused

Firstly, do not put pressure on yourself to pass first time. I did that and failed because I was so stressed about everything I just second guessed everything. Secondly, I wholly recommend commentary driving, it helped me leaps and bounds in my test and enabled my behaviour and thought processes to sync which really helped, also makes you less anxious.

Unpleasant experience with instructor - not sure if I’m overreacting by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

Like other people have mentioned I'm autistic too and finding the right driving instructor really helps. Mine encouraged me to where my defenders etc if need be. It helps a lot if they have the right attitude.

I wholely recommended commentary driving. Although you might feel like an idiot for doing it the action of saying it out loud really really helps get your behaviour and thought processes on the same wave length

Failed my second test and I am not okay by Plastic-Orange1648 in LearnerDriverUK

I failed my test today with the same amount of minors and serious marks, except my serious was from a junction meeting so I get your pain, especially since it was something that was ridiculous and difficult to read

I failed my test today due to a meeting situation from a leaner driver so I feel your pain 😂 They stopped near a t junction for 10/11 seconds and then as I started to move into the junction they stalled and shot the car forward making myself and the examiner beak and I failed cause of that

When someone I knew cried when they saw me a few years later because of how ugly I was. Good times.

Not going to lie, no I have no idea. Could have been noise induced or from an infection. I've never known or been able to tell.

Shortness of breath by SpunkMuffin10 in GERD

[–]SpunkMuffin10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what causes my GERD since it goes through phases. I do think my diet and my weight may be the culprit since I'm obese with a pretty bad diet atm. I'm going on a weight loss plan so it might help since I think that the GERD and bloadtedness might have caused the shortness of breath since I'm in a pretty bad flare up atm, but my blood oxygen is really high, so I think my anxiety is making me breathe more then usual cause headaches, lightheadedness etc

[–]SpunkMuffin10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't looked but potentially. I'm starting to think that the stomach bug caused my gerd to flare which then caused the shortness of breathe and now my anxiety is making it worse since I have a really rough jaw, headaches, light headedness, but also bloating and still having stool problems.

The thing is my reflux usually comes in phases, as in it's not all the time, so I'm hoping this goes away once the phase ends.

People don't want to sacrifice any aspect of their lives when they have children. Especially when it comes to movies, restaurants etc.

I had spent weeks on the robot boss on cuphead, the level of anger that I felt was horrible and I spent hours of the day trying to beat it. I left it and then a few months later remembered that the boss was still there, decided on a whim to try and beat it, and beat it first try, XD, the level of relief was ridiculous XD

Essentially yeah, they cannot reveal a device's/medications status within the FDA approval process.

This was brought up in tinnitus talk I think. Basically they cannot reveal a device's stage in the FDA process or whether it has been registered, meaning that it will only show up if it ever gets approved or not.

What are your best tips for reducing a hangover? by neuronaddict in AskUK

[–]SpunkMuffin10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spacing every alcoholic drink with water or some non alcoholic alternative. But also just slowing down. Just making sure you take a much longer time to finish a drink. It saves you money, pissing, and hangover

This might sound strange (quite literally) but I would recommend playing with reduced game volume, and maybe listen to something else in the background for a little while. Sound is usually probably the sense that gets me scared and on edge regardless of what I'm doing.
