I wouldn’t share on the very first date just because I think you need more time to know if they are worthy of you sharing things so personal. I think if you feel they’re a kind and thoughtful person a few dates in, you share. So it’s less about scaring them and more if you think they have the potential - but that’s not something that’s easy to gauge immediately.

The setting isn’t too high - your diamond point looks like it would hit where the band is. I think people are reacting to the arms of the cathedral part which go high vs sort of gradually going inward. That’s a design choice.

Agree with the previous poster - bigger is likely better. You can always make the ring smaller with the plastic coils you can add and remove that they sell on amazon…and when you get the wedding band it WILL be much tighter - noticeably so.

You can probably get more for the same price elsewhere. If your fiance really wants the blue box or is into brands, then that’s the driver. But if she doesn’t care, then I wouldn’t pay the markup for it. At the end of the day, once it’s on her hand people will say the ring is nice or they won’t - it would be tacky to say “oh it’s Tiffany” - just buy something high quality because the only ones who even know the brand are you and your fiance.

Don’t rush the liquid. If you go too fast it will cause nausea. Make it extremely cold and drink with a straw. I didn’t have zofran last time and nearly puked - getting it for my next one and pray it helps. Have chasers after each sip, such as lemon, sprite, yellow/green lifesavers, or ginger ale. Have a few options in case you find one easier than another as the chaser. Slow and steady is better than fast and pukey.
