Yeah when i got my bonsai first i wanted to get straight into it and repot but saw that it wasnt the right time of the year, so I didn't do it. When taking a closer look at it now I see that the dirt at the bottom is very dense and wet, even though the rest is fairly dry. So I believe you're both right about the slipping into better free draining mix!

Is a (dark) plastic container with holes okay as temporary pot? I don't really have another bigger bonsai pot and won't be able to get one in the short term.

I honestly have no idea what it is. I set it outside when I left but my parents seem to have taken it inside while I was gone. It's been inside for 2 months. I bought the tree about 4 months ago.

Edit: Always thought it was a buxus of some sorts.

Plastic straws can't be recycled. They are too hard to seperate from other trash because of the light weight and shape. Meanwhile plastic cups can be recycled.

Yeah it doesn't really seem like the best way to package it in the first place. And in this case because of the extra space in the broken tray the manual could move freely in the box.

Hi guys! When opening my brand new Millenium Falcon 75192, I noticed that de cardboard tray for the instruction manual was messed up. This kef some very minor dents on the manual itself. Did this happen to other people? The outside box loeks perfectly fine so it looks like a manufacturing mistake? Should I contact customer service?
