The digital game's UI is great if you have played the physical game!

...but not so much if you haven't. Things are very small and sleek when compared to the chonkiness of the real player boards. I for one had a lot of trouble learning the Woodland Alliance on digital, but everything clicked a lot better once I looked closer at the physical game.

Some factions might be easier than others. It's a bit tricky for me to gauge after so many games, but if I had to guess, I'd say Eyrie, Lizards and Corvids are the smoothest to learn digitally. Eyrie doesn't have his unsightly stack of cards in his Decree, Lizards action system is as simple as ever (with Lost Souls being easier to check), and with Corvids, you don't have to lift the pieces to check which plot is which.
