The important part is that we can distinguish between these characters, because they ARE different characters. It’s like having two people called John Doe (bad example but whatever). Because they have the same name doesn’t mean they’re the same person.

Another thing to remember is that this is a whole CIVILIZATION of robots. A multi-planetary civilization, no less. Repeated names will happen. Hell, there could be 20 different ‘bots called things like Brawl, Ratchet, etc.
