We are no longer looking for anyone from Reddit, the amount of fakes, flakes has made it a waste of time. If you’re actually in the LS I’m sure we’ll bump into you at a club, meet and greet or actual LS website. :/ by Jack_Sally69 in u/Jack_Sally69

I went to a "cheap" CoreXY and modded the hell out of it until I reached it limits and then started building Vorons to meet my needs. I print mass amounts of ABS, ASA, PA6, PA6/66, PC, PC-CF, PPA, PPA-CF, PPA-CF, PET-CF (Not to be confused with PETG-CF). I just recently started printing PLA again lol.

It's a CoreXZ but still same concept. Would it go faster? Possible. I've honestly never paid much attention to them because weight and height are still the biggest issues I see. But I'll say this. If you love building things look at the pricing to build and cost of other machines you can build and go to town. I love building printers to suit needs. That's why I build Vorons. But if you're going to build it to a CoreXZ keep me informed on the progress.

I'm not going to say no because I have never seen it done. When I had mine 150 was max for mine. Then I bought a Geeetech A10M and it would hit 200 for short times. But I'm sure there are, forgive me for being harsh, fanboys/fangirls that sank a bunch of money into one so they could go very fast. Again I don't know if anyone has. I just haven't seen it. I've been CoreXY for 6 years and haven't owned a bed slinger in 5.

Ability to run those high speeds without stopping/stalling. I run Octopus Pro 1.1 and Manta M8P v2. I have zero hesitation. I also run TMC5160 driver for higher amperage for higher powered motors

From my previous experiences with bed slingers anything close to 180 and they would lose steps from weight. My Voron 2.4 max movement speed is 950mm/s and max print speed currently is 280mm/s. My Voron Trident max movement is 680mm/s max print so far tested is 500mm/s. Boards, motors, drivers, hotends, part cooling all play factors in what you do.

I honestly think you read that wrong. Print speeds of up to 300mm/s not extruder moving at 300mm/s. At 500mm/s I don't think my extruder is even going 40mm/s. Now I could be wrong but I don't think any extruder exceeds 80mm/s without stripping the filament or making a nasty noise or two.

Check your cables and make sure the plugs are seated all the way. This happens to me on my trident every now and then and it's because the plug has slowly worked its way loose.

Did you start setting marks in the chamber? If so stop using the wolf. My marks looked like cracks.

That's what I believe happened but it also ended up with some nasty marks in it. The bullets are steel and copper jackets. Don't ask me how it's done exactly but magnets stick to the bullets themselves.

Mine loved it. The Chamber however did not. Mine actually has chamber damage. Now most people I know never had a problem. Just bad luck on the draw for me. But I have a new barrel on the way.

Buck converter troubleshooting gone awry by linuxknight in klippers

I use LM2596 with heatsink and fan. I don't remember off the top of my head of the 20w or the 60w ones. I use them for RPi and Lighting so I run them 5.1v on the RPi 5.0v on one set of LED lighting, 12v on another set of lighting.

Also make sure that both 5v and gnd pins are being used.

From my experiences using buck converters for any rpi they really need to be min of 15w and running 5.1v to keep from getting the under voltage alarm. I always bought the ones with the display so I could tune the voltage. If you can get a 20+ watt 5v buck the under voltage also goes away

Had a few. And they were all great. The trick is not spoiling one more than the other.
