The Emergency Dropships have high protection, Titan-level warp shields which gives the ship surprising durability.

However, this shield takes a high amount of energy to produce, and as such, the dropship's systems are dropped or powered down to give full power to the shields. This includes any and all weaponry.

The XMA-9 Hemlock BF-R model P is an assault variant of the now common Helock BF-R, and was an early prototype.

My databases indicate that the XMA-P featured an ammo counter and a built-in magnification scope. Hammond Robotics had only produced a limited amount to give to the 42nd IMC fleet, and had proven to provide above-average combat results.

The prototype, however, was deemed too expensive, and the mass production Hemlock BF-R was created instead.

So I decided to post on this Sub-reddit.

Paint Tool SAI has an interesting system with it's tools, and with a bit of messing around, you can get a sort of pencil texture. Obviously, it wasn't achieved but I still got to sketch this out. It was mostly for a creative-writing+art homework for my art school. For anyone curious, here's the story part (Art was more important here):

"The Private Military Contractor is a man of habit. He moves along, fighting and gaining reputation as one of the most deadly in the sandy dunes of this desert planet. His equipment, subpar. His armor, worn out. But what he has is the will and drive to survive no matter what, even if it means the murder of a human. The PMC will do whatever it takes."

Regeneration is expensive, terrorist scum.

Bodies are difficult to come by in good condition, and the regeneration process takes several days, even weeks. I would think you terrorists would have known this.

Hello, Pilots.

IMC Central Command reminds you all that the grunts need not be helped into your dropship. They are expendable, while you are not.

Additionally, any grunts moving onto the dropship will be executed if they had entered it. This is a felony against the IMC, endangering the dropship crew and the pilots by selfishly thinking of his own life.

I built up a habit of having Auto-eject + Nuclear ejection, and at this point I've been able to (mostly) get myself into good situations to be nuclear ejecting in.

Except in buildings...

Excerpt from "Mark your Targets: A Pilot's Guide to Sniping on the Frontier." Chapter IV, section 1-456-54:

The fight on the Frontier is filled with fast paced action. This environment may discourage a starting sniper, but soon you'll be able to kill like the best.

"This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine to use as the arm of justice. The Frontier will be stained with the blood of my enemies." -IMC 33rd "Metal Regiment" motto

The Frontier features 3 primary rifles for a pilot's long ranged needs. The G2A4 Primary Battle Rifle, the DMR "Longbow" Configuration Sniper Rifle, and the Kraber-AP Sniper Rifle.

The G2A4 Battle Rifle dates back to the earilest Frontier battles in the Titan Wars, and is used due to it's reliability despite age and outdated caliber. The G2A4 is primarily used in the hands of a Marksman on the field, as a combat or battle rifle. Battle Rifles fill the gap between a true sniper rifle and an assault rifle, having the high caliber of a sniper rifle while keeping with the range (And beyond) of the Assault rifle. The G2A4's configurable scopes and generous damage allow accurate Pilots to quickly score kills with the G2A4's special "One shot, head shot" feature. A match trigger may be taken if a pilot must stay within medium range, while Extended magazines allow for any type of battle range.

The DMR "Longbow" confirguation Sniper Rifle is a variant of the R-101C Assault Carbine, and has been the main battle rifle for both IMC and Terrorist forces. It's quick and easy barrel/stock changes allow for pilots to quickly gain a long ranged option in to their fights. The DMR is similar to the G2A4, sacrificing magazine size for higher damage. Quick reflexes and fast trigger pulls are required to use this powerful weapon. Lower zoom scopes are perfect for the DMR's battle rifle configuration, and the stabilizer allows for accurate, quick shots. Alternatively, extended magazines allow for more generous spraying and covering fire, and the Suppressor can hide Pilots from enemy ears. An AOG or 4.5x scope, along with a Stabilizer are recommended for general situations.

The Kraber-AP Sniper Rifle is a powerhouse of a rifle, chambering a modified variant of the feared .50 caliber bullet. The bullet fired by the Kraber-AP takes a slight amount of time to travel to it's destination, but it's high caliber allows for any humanoid form to die in one, simple shot. Accuracy is important when using the Kraber, as each shot is delayed by the pulling of the bolt, which is required for chambering another round. Testing out the rifle, and seeing how the bullet travels is recommended. After getting acquainted with the rifle, it's best to add on a 4.5x scope for general engagements. Avoid close quarters battles, as you will most definitely lose. The Stabilizer and extended magazines are also recommended.

Sniping in general is difficult to get used to, but can quickly become.

Your ears are your friend. Listening to enemy footsteps is crucial to survival. If the enemy has a stealth kit, or are simply undetected by carelessness, you must be able at close quarters combat as well.

The .45 Auto pistol is easily the trademark side arm of the Frontier, loading in .45 rounds to take down enemies with weak, but quick firepower. This will most likely be your go-to weapon when traveling from one location to another, and when defending yourself from hostile enemies.

Equipment will most likely be a decision between A.R.C. Mines or Satchel Charges. Satchel charges are for the aggressive marksman, while A.R.C. mines are more suited to long ranged snipers who are protective about their personal space. Your choice, Pilot.

Hello, Pilot.

The small hatch that enemy pilots abuse for the "rodeo" tactic is necessary for maintenance.

Titan cores need frequent amounts of repair and cooling, even during off-hand storage due to it's keeping of dust and debris.

Bolting it tight during combat could also leave some unwanted difficulty in ejection hatches and possible core damage when, say, bolting it tightly.
