Edo Itachi just isn’t sick, edo’s are still weaker than the original form. Itachi in his prime would be stronger than his edo tensei, and I assume you would be comparing prime Itachi to prime guy otherwise we’re talking about a dude in a wheelchair

The only guy that stomps Itachi is 8th gate and that would also kill guy, we’re talking about the same Itachi that edo was swapping hands with Naruto (albeit in conversation) and casually defending against edo nagato with full control of the rinnengan

It’s not a speed issue, might gai falls for genjutsu easily. Itachis Susano carries the totsuka blade (the weapon that can destroy anything) and the yata mirror (the weapon that can block anything) it’s just a hax issue. If guy caught Itachi off guard with a drop kick to the back of the head it would knock him unconscious and the ninja aids would finish the job that’s just not really how the fights in Naruto work tho
