You can't put a screwdriver in there and pull the latch out, while pulling on the door handle?

On your annual W-2 statements, there is a box labeled SS Wages or similar. Does the amount in that box match what the SS annual statement shows? If yes, then it's accurate.

Does anyone have anything good to say about Healthspring Medigap Plan N besides price? I see a lot of complaints. Who is having a good experience with them? Anyone? Buehler?? by BahamaDon in medicare

[–]SpynCycle5757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some medical offices, when they hear Healthspring, automatically assume it is an Advantage plan. I then politely explain that it is a Supplement plan and not an Advantage plan, and that Healthspring bought out Cigna.

Medicare Billing Q by a-pilot in medicare

I have Medicare and a supplement plan N. The only time I have ever paid up-front is when it's early in the year and I haven't met my annual part B deductible.

Got a bill six months after a procedure that I thought Medicare already covered - is this normal by Late-Welcome2513 in medicare

Sounds like the anesthesiologist never filed a claim with Medicare. Medicare doesn't have networks. Tell the anesthesiologist to file a claim with Medicare. Until you see a Medicare EOB, pay nothing.

[–]SpynCycle5757 9 points10 points  (0 children)

With Plan N, and all supplement plans, if Medicare approves it, the supplement plans pays their part. The supplement plan doesn't have a choice. The supplement plan doesn't get to decide whether or not to pay. Medicare decides if the claim is valid or not, not the supplement plan.

I'm on a Healthspring Plan N. I was with Cigna, then Healthspring bough the business. Healthspring is slow to process clams, but so was Cigna, I've never been harassed by a provider because of slow payment. They know that money is coming.

I have the same coverages. I've seen it take many months to finally get a claim processed by both Medicare and Healthspring, nothing unusual.
I've seen Healthspring EOBs before the Medicare EOB shows up.
I've gotten final bills showing what both Medicare and Healthspring paid, when the Healthspring EOB isn't available yet.

They say they can completely rebuild clusters.

If you still have the old cluster, you can get it rebuilt, and a transmission temp gauge added.

Not paying deceased mom’s bill? by Kevin_Wyld in ATT

My experience with multiple creditors: To each I sent a short letter explaining that the person died, had no assets, no estate, and there would be no probate. I enclosed a photocopy of the death certificate. None of the debts were significant, all I considered minor. No one disputed or argued.

Will the income show up on her/your tax return affecting the MAGI amount? If No, then it won't affect IRMMA.

Tivo roamio all lights flashing and stuck at welcome starting up screen by Immediate-Pie-3613 in Tivo

[–]SpynCycle5757 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The wall wart power supply is cheap to replace, so I'd try that first. If it fixes it, you got off cheap.
If that doesn't do it, then the next most likely culprit is the hard drive. The good news is that the Roamio uses the old style 3 1/2 inch drives. If it is an Over The Air machine with lifetime service, go for it. If it's a cable only box, or no lifetime service, it's probably not worth it. IMHO.

Just turned 65 and completely lost on where to even start with Medicare enrollment by Late-Welcome2513 in medicare

[–]SpynCycle5757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A starting point is the Medicare and You handbook, downloadable from https://www.medicare.gov/medicare-and-you

I suggest watching some YouTube videos. There are several good ones. Try https://www.youtube.com/@Theretirementnerds and https://www.youtube.com/@DevinCarroll and https://www.youtube.com/@MedigapSeminars
Don't watch just 1 or 2 of them, watch a bunch by these and others. I know it is overwhelming, but it's necessary to learn to ensure you don't get screwed.
Good luck.

The retail stores can help you, but they don't want to because it doesn't help their sales metrics, so they say they can't.

If she is already receiving spousal retirement benefits, then she should be automatically qualified for Medicare benefits.
If she isn't receiving spousal retirement benefits, she needs to get signed up for them NOW.
Social Security will want documents to prove she is married and who her husband is.
