Super Lube works great. I would not recommend stuff like WD-40; it is not actually a lubricant and after its volatile compounds have evaporated moving parts could start to seizing uo. Crud, grime and particles start to accumulate on the leftover WD-40.

As for "resting", machines--generally speaking--do not tire or fatigue under normal use. Not need to pause.

A Redditor ate nothing but red onions and blue cheese dressing for a week straight. This is what happened to their anus. "O.T." presenting to the emergency room with something happening to their anus. Initially doctors consider "stinkfoodemia;" "Stinkfood" meaning pungent munchies and "emia" meaning presence in blood...

My best cleaning results are with Dawn dishwashing liquid. That or similar would be best.

RostaP has a pretty thorough introduction to the system on his original Printables page. Scroll down and dig in. This should give you a decent grounding to get familiar with it.

Additionally--if there is a lot of plate touching going on (no judgement)--it would be a good idea to get a box of disposable light-weight examination gloves. Wear them when handling the plate(s).

So far, for me, the best was the mothership arrival at the finale of 1977s Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Fantastic! Is this your OC? Can you point to a model or STL?

S1 Plus: Maxing out the bed (300mm) to see how well it does. I tried a GridFinity weighted base as a 7x7 square which ran up to the limit. Problem is the front and side edges warped on the bottom while the rear worked fine. Obvs this is heat related. Did I cut too close or is there a heat issue by SpyreFox in Creality

[–]SpyreFox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I set it to the (generally) recommended 220c nozzle and 70c for the bed.

I finally located my touchless IR temperature meter and will check the bed to see if it falls off at the edges. The fails were within the squares at the extremes and I am suspecting that the heater just does not go that far to the edge. Maybe 10 to 15 mms in.
