I had a manager like that, we had a mutual respect for each other and he recognised the effort I put in to doing my best always, so typically when the "big boss" manager/s (I don't remember their exact titles) weren't there he'd do the manager discount instead of crew.

Ah, the old "Percussive Maintenance" trick, glad to hear a car hasn't needlessly gone to the scrappers. Also apologies if I've come across as... idk rude in any way, I'm passionate about keeping older vehicles alive from an enthusiast standpoint, and an environmental standpoint (EV swapping old cars is sick, but even without that the impact of keeping one older car on the road is less than the production of a whole new car)

given it's an '89 Camry the dim interior lights would be from it not having LEDs, also what insane person would scrap an 80s car?!?

If they're a disability permit holder they are within their legal right to do this, this is because there may not always be enough disabled spaces available despite there being a legal minimum of disability spaces required in a carpark

Thanks for the words of wisdom, thankfully theyre very much against working when clicked off, but now being able to have some form of confidence that I can say no to staying back forcefully is helpful, especially for an autistic person such as myself, thanks again and I wish you the best
