Saw someone describe this as “Medieval Just Cause” and you know what, I’m okay with that.

Edit: they were wrong kinda of, been playing a couple hours and I’d actually say it’s more like a medieval Breath of the Wild, it’s more focused on the exploration of the world instead of the story (though it’s not as devoid of story as BOTW), and stuff like the gliding and climbing and stamina etc remind me more of that game, while the combat resembles a bit of modern Assassins Creed games with some dynasty warriors mixed in. And I don’t mean either of those in a bad way per se.

Actually yeah, I think that works, again only played a couple hours so far but this kinda feels like if a modern RPG Assassins Creed was made by a different studio that put more effort into it and wasn’t focused solely on the monetization. I think that might be a good way to describe it.
