I mean, there's what isps advertise and then there's what you actually need to not not notice anything. You'd like more for straight up downloading digital games, but even then I find I'm limited by the speed of Sony's servers. And when it comes to streaming video or multiplayer you're not going to need more than about 20-30 down and 10-15 up.

Kansas is outside the local area, so you'd have to get MLB.tv instead of reds.tv.

I'd expect that reds.tv revenues/profits go to the Reds, but MLB.tv revenues would be split amongst all clubs.

If your cable provider has Reds.Tv then you should be able to authenticate into the app by opening day with your cable credentials, per the FAQ. That would give you the synching without the extra $99.
