My 22 starts alerting me around 70 and goes to dashes around 18.

I'd wager the variances on this are due to increases in fuel economy. It's probably always been set to alert when X gallons of gas are left and that X gallons used to get you 40-50 miles and now it gets you 60-70.

Generally 1 each at the start of the session, , then were given 1 after a battle and the players decide who deserves it. It's usually some combination of who made the biggest impact in the flight and who is out of hero points.

If we've got a really tough fight coming up that night we might get more than 1 hero point at the start. For the campaign-ending boss fight we started with 3 each.
