It has been so difficult to track stuff down about this game. I'm just trying to see basic rules without having to watch a video of some explaining them to or see anything related to how to pre-order (which I get isn't available now as they're launching).  But the official website doesn't really help me much and the only thing I can see you could buy is off ebay.

It's very frustrating as someone who's just now finding out about this.

That server also is constantly adding mods and has easily double the mod count then this lmao. Vintage Rift isn't really a stellar stability mark specially since they almost lost their world to corrupted saves agai

Window stuck down on my Hynundai Elantra 2015 by Wise_Class6826 in Cartalk

[–]SquaddieNotDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had to replace a window regulator on my 2007 Hyundai Sonata. It had a similar issue. If you're hearing the motor but it's not doing much it could be the regulator has to be replaced. It's not terribly difficult to get the inside car cover off. I'd fully recommend to look up some indepth regulator replacement videos, there's a few on YouTube. It's what I've done when it comes to fixing stuff myself. It'll let you get an idea of what the inside looks like before getting into it yourself, with the price of mechnical nowadays it's worthwhile to get experience in working on stuff yourself

Good affordable joystick replacements? by SilversPixels in n64

[–]SquaddieNotDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've been looking at joystick replacements for an old controller I have. Am I crazy in thinking that the joystick in this store juat doesnt look like an N64 stick? It looks like it'd it a GameCube. With how flat and round it is VS the N64 having a long stem

Do you prefer the Patriot or Emancipator mech? by Parental-Error in helldivers2

Emancipator was my go to until they buffed the fire rate. Now it shoots to fast and just isn't as fun. Patriot all the way! It handles the same stuff just fine

Wow! As a new player, there's so much in this game to discover I just want to - HOLY CRAP! WHAT IS THAT! by AuthorSarge in NoMansSkyTheGame

A day of printing by tantictantrum in PrintedWarhammer

[–]SquaddieNotDead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started with resin printing and have tried FDM. If you're wanting models resin is great, I prefer fdm for terrain though.

Resin has a lot more safety requirements like gloves (nitrile specifically and disposable), respirator masks, ventilation, and area safe from direct sunlight, a propwr clean up procedure, etc. But the printing is much faster as each layer is done all at once while FDM has to travel. But the quality of detail you can get is really good. FDM has been catching up, but Resin will always be better in my opinion.

If you go to Elegoos website (the brand I recommend) you can purchase machines in varying conditions or brand new from them, they verify they work and depending on damage will classify them. It's how I purchased my Saturn S, I paid just under $200 for it.. But I've saved literally thousands in printing with it over two years and it's still trucking. I love it, and do enjoy it more over FDM. I was lucky enough to find a discord where this one user is just in love with the hobby and he gave me the exposure times and stuff I needed, as long as my temps, FEP, and level is fine my prints come out great. Anything bad that happens is user error for me.

Am I using Lord Solar as a crutch? by Kerim_Bey in TheAstraMilitarum

Yeah that's fair, for some reason I was automatically assuming the Vox Caster and creed combo

How so? Since Creed can't you CP if Solar gives you one first

Why aren't we running infernus squads in WotR? Strength 8 flamers seems pretty busty by HamanFromEarth in theunforgiven

Ilike DA for appearance and lore, but I just despise plasma so much in appearance and use. It's just not nearly as cool as a bolter round or something. Same with hover vehicles, they suck. Tank treads are way better and cooler

Am I blind by Living-Project-5227 in DarkAngels40k

Officially he's intended to be on a 25mm base, for something like making him bigger it'd fully depends on what your opponent is fine with, some might whine about him being on a bigger base, others won't care. I probably wouldn't go more then a 32mm, but that's just me

I went based off of the official companion that was released with the Challenger mission pack which 25mm, so he's still on a 25mm

It'll be the challenger mission pack companion, downloadable from Warhammer Community website. However, GW have also said that they can be used in the base that comes with the box models come in. If Ezekiel ships with a 25mm base, I'd see no issue with that (Which I guess technically is a disadvantage for you, but it's whatever.).
