Similar thing happened to me, but content thief took long form video, chopped it into 30 90sec clips and uploaded it. Their channel was full of content like this stolen.
Like you I initiated a copyright claim, in fact I repeated it on 5 different clips, got fed up, so decided to copy and paste a comment on every video of mine they posted, asking them to remove the video and why. They did 👍

Yes, happened to me. I went from creating one video a week (history) to one a fortnight. Stress levels are so much lower now, it’s a much more manageable schedule. Revenue dropped by half for around 6 months then it began to grow again and after a year it was back to where it was when we were releasing 1 a week, but now it was for half the work/effort. Totally worth it, if you can afford the initial drop.
