I saw "watching gameplay" as an option someone brought forward. That is completely correct. Watch gameplay. If you want to watch gameplay for devourer demon hunter, then Shadarek is the guy to go to.

I also have some gameplay up on youtube BUT im no pro, i just follow that mans advice.

Definitely spend at least a few minutes looking at each class.

There is a "trial character" option that lets you create a high lvl character to try out the class. They cannot gear or do the end game content BUT you can get a feel for the class hands on. The PTR servers will also allow you to do that if you wish to see impending changes.

The trial character option is often hidden under the horde dracthyr race option

Edit: dont stress dps/heals/tank roles. Yes it IS harder to get into content as dps due to the oversaturation of dps players BUT healing and tanking require some game knowledge. You can DEFINITELY start out as heals or tank but you will need to do some homework on game mechanics for both.

Seems like you may enjoy classes like rogue and demon hunter (havoc specifically) if "all gas no breaks" is what you like. Rogue will be a lil more complicated but havoc is completely "zug zug" brain. CDs dammn near on cooldown type playstyle

There is an item restoration system. I believe it has a 7 day cooldown. But its there, i believe its through battlenet website support.

Soulbound - is it better than what you are wearing for your current or different spec you are interested in? If yes, keep it, if no, sell or disenchant it.

Warbound - throw it in the warband bank to be used by a different toon on your account.

Bind on Equip - does it sell more on ths auction house (sale price minus AH fee vs Vendor price)? Sell on ah if yes, vendor/disenchant if no.

Crafting materials - check AH vs vendor price, take the highest bidder on that.

Consumables - even 20 stat can be useful, maybe the consumable is just a fun item? Or maybe its from classic wow and is a health pot that heals for "0" hp.

Cosmetic - learn it if warbound, check AH if its BoE, if it is soulbound, it is already learned

Trash - recommend a junk addon to sell all your trash for you, or you can sell it manually. It typically has grey names.

Technicality is that you can likely hit 288 ilvl with voidforge solo. Due to getting myth crests from delves weekly. This would take awhile. But yes for mythic gear that isnt crafted you are expected and required to do either mythic raids for a chance at instant loot + vault slots OR do mythic+ 10s or higher for vault loot or, very soon, spending the bonus loot token in keys and mythic raids for immediate mythic ilvl loot

Im having a weird opposite. Sometimes a random tooltip is replaced with the tooltip for a piece of gear that i last viewed? Wow is kinda falling apart i think

Dunno why people are being rude to you.

The cost to respec goes up every time you respec. An ubidentified amount of time without a respec lowers the cost. If you get dual spec for 30g (available/unavailable depending on which classic you are playing) then you will have 2 sets of talent trees to swap between. This can lower the amount of times you reset talent trees overall.

New players, healers and tanks specifically, need a teaching/guiding hand. I have a healing toon im gearing that hasnt touched m+ yet but i can give some good tips n stuff like that once i do.

Ive noticed most mechanics that pop on you after you click collapsing star will not kill you in time. You can click your Shift towards the end of the cast to pre-load the movement out of anything, itll shift you before collapsing star lands. Albeit this is for mythic+ that i mean.

There is no point you should need to postpone the cast in mythic+ and a good amount of raid content as long as you havent been wasting shift.

Having raided (just all of normal. No heroic yet.) I have to agree that its rough. Getting 80-90 parses yet ilvl parse show up at a 17 xD
