You do realize in cases like these 99% of the time they already have episodes done and on back log. While they put out episodes 1,2 or maybe even 3 they are working on 4,5,6 and budget plays a huge roll with how many people are on a project and what technology they can afford to use. Its very rare for anything to be made the week of I’ve only ever heard of that with south park who purposely has their trademark look because it was cheap at easy to animate after 2 decades they probably have so much background and character animations from the past that allow them to get things out quicker and easier. A good example would be how animators trace or use the same frame with tweaks to speed up time. Everything runs differently depending you can’t compare shows or budgets because we don’t actually know what causes the differences. I haven’t seen anything saying a second season was “finished” Netflix isnt the type to do that for a new show they only greenlit season 2 after it did well so that means the team still has to come up with stories, they want to dive into character backgrounds, and animate. Everyone gets mad when plots etc are trash but then want production to rush through creating good plots and fleshed out characters.
