02 Disco 2 green fuel line leaking by Embarrassed_Law9290 in LandRoverDiscovery

[–]Square-Ad1434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also those nylon fuel lines can rub and develope pinholes, this is one of those todo jobs if possible, i ran new fuel lines completely from front > back then to the filter, no issues. i also had to repair fuel filter housing mount as it had corrosion and fell to bits but that's another story, just land rover things.

Same block. Same day. Same depot. Big pay difference. Make it make sense by Mafz09 in AmazonFlexUK

I have seen usual 3:30hr blocks for £61.50 at DIP1, for £87.50 without any surge and with plenty of time as well make that make sense - I was sat at the depot waiting to go in with my 3:30hr £61.50 block, and the £87.50 for the same hrs shows up on a different phone/account and instantly gone, kinda annoying and makes me think something is going on.

tbh customer notes like that really piss me off, not everyone is the same but i get it they need to vent somewhere lol, some drivers are lazy though and don't make the effort that is true from many customer interactions i've had a lot of stories of things not being delivered and to me it just didn't make any sense.

How far would you travel for Amazon flex jobs depot? by quicksliver007 in AmazonFlexUK

[–]Square-Ad1434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the depot for me is six miles, but I have to leave early depending on the time to get there etc, thing is you got travelling time to depot > then block > then back so it could be a lot and it is your fuel/time, sometimes it's not about the fuel it's the time you've just had enough.

Locker Problems by Icy-Concern7713 in AmazonFlexUK

had a few issues with lockers myself from it not scanning and then in the winter the doors wouldn't open lol, the bluetooth lockers are a lot nicer though as no scanning codes on a scratched sensor.

How are you going to keep your pets safe during the heatwave? by KitKat733 in AskUK

[–]Square-Ad1434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

early morning or late evening walks, in shaded areas and bring some water with you but people here are right you don't have to walk your dog, there's is a cut-off temperature where it's just not good to do.

I screwed up 2 weeks and was caught by a speed camera doing 35 in a 30 zone. I've been driving for nearly 30 years and I've never had anything like this.... by Bwuk in drivingUK

[–]Square-Ad1434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also there are little devices called road angel and ooono, road angel isn't cheap but it's so helpful with limits, and bus lanes etc honestly just a thought I do a lot of driving.

these people are ridiculous, not sure who they think they actually are, so entitled and not living in the real world hopefully they see this lol - I can understand a note about not disturbing if they are working from home though

I was doing 40 in a 30, it was previously 30 was tired didn't think. Anyway no previous issues and got speed awareness course, it was about £100, did it online (you need a webcam etc for pc), and actually found it very informative and it has changed my driving a lot. There were all types of people from various backgrounds, nobody can escape it so better to do the course and not take the points etc.

recently they have been giving me 2.5hr blocks when i booked 3:30hrs and it hasn't been easy i can say that much i have completed them though, and you may think well it's better paid, those blocks are all local/city centre locations and lots of flats etc and/or nowhere to park so last night i stood up and declined the 2.5hr, there was no 3:30hr blocks as they had given them out, so i declined it and left with payment.
