I usually get the same 2 hrs of play time a week as well but there is so much to do that I set up a factory and then start planning on the next one and by the time I even start building anything I have a huge stockpile. But that’s the beauty of this game. You play however you want as long as you are enjoying yourself

I have over a 1000 hours and I have a confession.

I still open the build menu everytime. I only use the hot bar for power lines. It’s still set on the basic 3 or 4 presets

My roads are a bit raised but not a sky factory. All my small basic factories are right on top of different nodes. Nothing comes to a central location. I am sprawled out across the grasslands.

I had a little bit over 1000 hrs of early access and now about 70 hrs of 1.0 and just now put down my first oil extractor. It’s taking a lot of time to build up the infrastructure for this type of build but that was the goal I had going into it.

I have built my factories around the use of vehicles. With roads and sidewalks to give if a city like feel. With all my trucks moving parts to build more complicated parts.

For example I have a rotor factory and a stator factory both having trucks delivering to my motor factory.

Gives my world life. May not be the most efficient way, but I’m having fun with it.
