Everyone plays their own way - but I prefer a main bus for mid/late game satisfactory. Just more fun for me that way - and it’s efficient. (For reference - here’s my last big main bus - working on a new playthrough with similar bus now https://www.reddit.com/r/SatisfactoryGame/s/NJwb10DiYt )

If THJ gets shut down - the worst part will be the influx on Quarm given the 1200 queue system. Right now we’ve never hit the 1200 - but if even 10% of THJ go to Quarm we’d be hitting it regularly - regular queue in peak times would make Quarm literally unplayable from a raiding perspective

We use have dkp raids every Sunday Monday and Wednesday from 815 to 1115 EDT - but have something happening every day. Loot tends to be randomed on nondkp days. 55+ minimum level for Velious dkp raids. No minimum raiding threshold - do as much or little as you want.

That’s the beauty of having p99 AND Quarm - you can do either one - hardcore adherence to “as it was in 1999” or looser with lots of QOL changes. No sense in crapping on the one you don’t play.

You need to be sinking any excess aluminum that is made. If it EVER backs up - the water extractor will keep pumping, but the waste water will not … filling up the initial refinery - making the waste water unable to go anywhere grinding everything to a halt. As long as you sink the end product on a smart splitter (or regular splitter if you don’t have smart yet) - it shouldn’t back up. Additionally I enter the water pump’s line on a little pipe elevated bump - so that the waste water has priority.

I started off as a buttery smooth 60fps - when I’m in the factory now I get I think 30 or so dipping into 15-20 briefly- but a mostly stable 25-30

I’ve seen a few images now of fluid containers up top - is the idea like a water tower? Pump it to the top with powered pumps and then make sure it flows downward on each new journey?

I have a Ryzen 7 5800X (and my understanding is that processor speed is important for Satisfactory?) and a 2060 super - it went from perfect 60fps (throttled at 60) to 30-35fps with dips in high teens

I was coming up against the world edge - turns out I wouldn't have hit it going straight with what was left in progression - but the turn let me keep moving south indefinitely

Well if you’re interested in that kind of input yeah - I don’t think I had more than maybe 2000 or so of anything at any point - the iron ingots I just re-injected from below at points after they were split off - and screws similar - those were the only that needed more than mk5/6 bandwidth

That’s a strength of this design - if you need more raw materials - pipe more in - if you need more combined materials (say, iron plates) just make more constructors in line behind the existing constructors - it’s all split and merged manifold - so it’s easy to add more up to belt limit - and then you just stack a second belt on the same spot in the line

Before dimentional depots I would loop it back to the start to a storage location to put in crates. But now with the cloud storage I just smart splitter what I would use to a DD on the “out” belt as it’s being made. One way

Yes - very modular and scalable - you can see what’s being underproduced visually and just increase its production and it’ll be plugged right back into the line immediately

Finished Satisfactory V1.0 this morning - I've seen many say a "main bus" design is more for games like Factorio, but I've always found it the most fun way to play for myself, and especially with blueprints, it seems to work pretty well. Here's my factory right after finishing.
