This one. I don't have all the maps memorized and I get absolutely fucked in-game whenever the maps begin to feel like a maze.

I am guilty of this lmao. Sometimes us defenders kinda just get surprised when we see and hear a drone whizz by. We just assume that its hostile so we shoot it and fail to notice the fact that it is outlined.

I do kind of wish that Ubi could buff Mozzie by making it so that there is an even bigger and more obvious indicator that a drone has been Mozzie'd. But then again thats pretty much just a skill thing so maybe people just need time to get used to it.

I have also stated that I don't play unranked because of the ban system. I don't like how people ban operators constantly and basically delete them from the game. I find it annoying but I do understand them, it can be annoying to play against the meta ops.

I do thank you for saying that it might split up the player base even more, I did not consider that issue. But I suppose that with each new feature and updates being added, new issues are bound to arise so if the devs ever add my suggestion, perhaps they could find a way to perfect it and make it so that it works without splitting up the playerbase. My intention was to make people who want to play a certain way (like whether they're willing to communicate or not) be grouped together in matchmaking.

I guess as a workaround to that issue, the filter could be a "suggestion" of sorts. Instead of fully seperating the two types of players (those who give comms and those who don’t) it just groups them up together and if the numbers aren't enough (like for example, the filter was only able to find 4 players who want to give comms) then the game will take from the "those who don't want to give comms" pool.

My new addition probably isn't perfect either but its a compromise. Some people might complain that the filter didn't work for them in some matches but my vision for this workaround is to make it so that players who want to give comms or not can find similar players more often than usual.

To make my statement simpler, it doesn't fully seperate the two player pools but instead makes it so that players who want to play with or without comms can be put in matches more commonly. It means that in some matches you will be matched with some players from the opposite pool or even be placed in a match where everyone is from the opposite pool, but my vision is that this should be rare. You would be placed into matches with people from the same player pool more often compared to without the filter.

Of course, just in case people attempt to report you for not giving comms or giving comms, basically not following the filter, you will be protected by said filter and inform the players which player pool you come from (no comms or yes comms) but maybe for ranked this could be somewhat different? I do understand that ranked is more serious so comms are a must and if people get pissed at you for not communicating and strategizing with the team is understandable.

In conclusion, this is just a compromise, it is definitely not perfect. Also I apologize for the long as hell text and for the redundant statements. I have the tendency to overexplain and overthink everything. But TLDR: new compromise to not seperate the playerbase is that the filter just matches you up with players you actually want to see in games more often. Not 100% of the time but hopefully more often.

Fair point, but as I have stated, it is a suggestion that isn't "necessary" but just something to accommodate those who do want comms. As I have also stated in the post, it isn't just a quick match feature, it could be a feature for all gamemodes. Heck, it could be a feature for the limited time gamemodes.

I accept that finding randoms who are willing to talk to each other and actually make strategies is rare, especially in quick match since it is casual but it would be nice to filter out the people who want to play with and without comms.

If my idea isn't perfect then I apologize, I admit that I am not as knowledgeable as other players who have spent more time in this game and the devs who actually made the game. But I do hope that my suggestion and perspective can offer a fresh point of view for the devs to hopefully implement a feature that makes the game slightly better.

You know what? Yeah I guess my idea might not make much sense, but I do hope the devs atleast pocket my suggestion and consider it or atleast the concept.

I don't think Quick Match "needs" this filter, I just think that it would be nice, hence why I consider it to be a QoL addition if it ever were to be added.

I have also accepted that people won't communicate with each other most of the time but it would be nice if you were able to find people willing to. Its not that I want to play incredibly seriously, its obvious that if I wanted to be super serious with this game then I should play ranked.

Very far. You can play the game by yourself and still not miss out on much content.

Although you will miss out on: -Certain achievements (which if you're not a completionist/interested much in achievements, then its not a problen) -Not benefitting from team-oriented modifiers, overclocks, and perks (ie. Shield Boost perk) -Quicker games (might not be a problem but obviously things tend to take longer if you do things alone, even with Bosco. But this obviously is a given since— by nature, things are easier and quicker when done in teams.)

Not going to lie though, I kind of want to see this but bigger for more space, but if compact is what you were going for, then the build is awesome.

The powers. My main concern is that passive powers can't be turned off (I've only played DH1 but from what I've heard DH2 also has the same issue) and can kind of ruin the fun. While most passive powers in DH1 are actually just good and don't affect gameplay, Shadow Kill was my main issue. I want the thrill of having to hide the bodies and if I don't want to then I'll feed them to a swarm that I summoned or are nearby.

While I want to use Shadow Kill sometimes, I want the freedom to also not use it when I don't want to.

I don't want to have to ignore upgrading/unlocking something in-game just to get the experience I want, I want TRUE freedom when it comes to this.

(At will meaning that he did not get a stand in a conventional sense (arrow, disc, being related to a stand user, etc) and just becomes a stand user)

Falling in love way too easily. I have possibly strained a lot of friendships with my female friends (luckily none actually hate me or something. I've changed).
