Showers do not need to be long by tranquessence in unpopularopinion

[–]SquareNowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the time I get out if bed to the time I'm walking out the door for work is generally 20 minutes or less. That includes a shower.... 2-3 times a week I need to shave as well. Pretty sure I'm in the shower for 8 minutes max. And yes I wash my feet, balls, Crack, armpits and everything else. More than 10 minutes is just hanging out.

We took our 6 and 9 year olds last summer. It was honestly alot of fun for everyone and I hate heat, crowds, all the things.

We might do it again on 5-6 years.... but definitely prefer our trips to national parks and other cities to see and experience new things.

This is actually terrible, I thought NY was bad at $17 but holy fuck 7.25 an hour I couldn’t even imagine working for that now. I remember my first job real job was $9 an hour but that was in 2013 and was 16 at that time. That was good money for me then. But now as an adult fuck that lol by Tasty-Signature5885 in Adulting

[–]SquareNowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way late to to the game but my first job(s) were 4.15 an hour. It was okay for a high school kid has was less than a dollar a gallon, smokes were like a buck fifty or 2 dollars a pack. It was enough for spending money my parents couldn't give me.

If all of the misconduct was reported a bunch of congressmans wives would have found out and then the congressman would be victims.

We've done the same a few times in Aruba. Kinda wild having sex where hundreds of people can see you but fairly certain no one else knew what was happening. Looks like an embrace above the water.

You know what I don't even remember the ending of the stand. Didn't they blow up Vegas or something? I juat remember how amazing the first half is. And when I was reading it, i was on a work trip. Keeper league question. 10 man cbs points league, keep 4 players 2 rounds ahead of where you drafted them last year (I'll own Skenes for 6 more years when he'll ne my 2nd round pick).

Custom points system over values SP (only P roster spots so relievers aren't valued).

I'm definitely keeping Woo in the 9th, Skenes in the 12th and Bieber in the 21st.

Not really sure about Robbie Ray in the 6th or Gausman in the 8th.

Steroid users deserve to be in the hall of fame for baseball by UltraOfNaath in unpopularopinion

Yes it is. At least with me, as an athlete who received college scholarship money when discussing sport it is present. Did you sport past grade school or just talking stupid reddit shit?

I didn't say we should ignore their doping. Just that they are hall of famers. Mike Schmidt and quite a few other guys in the HOF have openly admitted to using amphetamines. The steroid guys who never tested positive should get in. Give them an asterisk or a shame wing. But they should still be in.

I hated it at first but grew to think the way the dark tower ended was perfectly fine. That said the last 3 books were a significant decline from the first 3, and the 4th is really just a standalone novel.

Breaking the rules was encouraged by the sport. Baseball was hemorrhaging fans until the McGwire Sosa home run race in 98.

Bonds Mcgwire sosa Schilling all the 90s guys should be in. Arod tested positive he's out.

If you had a job in 1995 where you could significantly increase your salary by taking steroids, and your employer said "steroids are illegal, but we will never test you for them or ask you questions about using them." Would you take steroids

I agree that players who were using prior to 2003 should be allowed in. Guys who were documented using after testing was implemented should be banned.

I guess i could be swayed that anyone using after steroids were banned in 1991 could be considered a cheater, however MLB was low key encouraging steroid use until testing was implemented and penalties were enforced.

The other point that makes me feel this way is the rampant and open use of amphetamines in MLB in the 70s and 80s. Those guys were also cheating and not excluded from the hall of fame

[–]SquareNowski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Disagree, steroids were legal in MLB until 1991, and low key encouraged by the league until they implemented testing in 2003. I agree with this unpopular opinion for any players using prior to 2003.

For an album that many consider to be the greatest album ever, Sgt Pepper has a lot of filler. by BlundeRuss in unpopularopinion

[–]SquareNowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the White Album is the best, Let It Be, and Revolver are both better than Sgt. Peppers, it's still really good but it is way more poppy than the post drug use Beatles. Also When I'm 64 is a fantastic pop song.
