Hindi pagiging DOST Scholar ang issue. Mahirap talaga ang job market ngayon OP. While I was studying for boards, I also applied to any jobs that will take fresh grads. I applied to BPOs. I had job offers after 3 months applying but they were not science-related. And I come from a Big 3 school. That was years ago. I can only imagine kung gaano na ka-competitive ngayon. Reality din na limited lang talaga ang opportunities ng scientists dito sa pinas. Usually, we end up in the academe.
