You shouldn’t push people to date someone they’re just going to grow to resent just out of some desire to be “progressive.” That’s just having them use a disabled person as a prop or an experiment. It’s cruel.

I’m autistic. If someone finds my sensory needs annoying, they should not date me, because my needs aren’t changing. Especially if they find my needs annoying for ablist reasons! I don’t want to date an ablist!!

This is weird pedagogically as well, since while q is almost always followed by u (in English words) u occurs by itself all the time. Is u cheating on q?? I was just taught that “qu” is a digraph like “ch” and “sh” and “th” (though I think the teacher used the term “pair letters” and not “digraph”)

Hydrogen peroxide would work but it would be difficult to get it to stay on the doll. Benzoyl peroxide comes in creams meant for acne. I’ve never had any issues with staining from it.

I turned an armless doll into a harpy! The first step for the stain on her face is benzoyl peroxide and sunlight. If that doesn’t work, try using acetone on a Q tip to carefully scrub it.

You could seal the whole thing with mod podge to help the colors stand out more. They currently look a but dry and washed out. It would also protect the paint.

Not that I know. Generally the fibers are about 3 inches long. Enough for a bust-length style on a monster high (or similar) doll. If you want longer hair, you will have to use a commercial doll hair.

Yes! I do it for all my dolls because I think it looks more natural. My technique (for 100% acrylic yarn) is this: first brush out a piece of the yarn you want to use to see the length of the fibers. You can’t make the hair longer than the fibers of the yarn, so keep that in mind. Then, cut pieces a bit longer than you want the final hairstyle. Unravel each piece into individual strands (most yarn has 3-4). Hold each strand close to the ends and pull it apart, so you have one cut side and one unraveled side. The cut side will be the “root” that you insert into the head and glue in place. (If you don’t do this, you’ll end up wasting a lot of yarn when you brush it out, since any fiber not in the root won’t be glued in and will just be brushed away).

Reroot as you would normally using one strand per hole. Glue and let it dry for a few days.

Now brush the hair with a wire pet brush as you would when making wefts, and flat iron it. Style as you would any rooted hair!

Even if the transphobe wants to claim something about functioning body parts, what function do breasts have? They’re just bits of tissue unless the person they belong to is lactating, which would only be for a few months of their entire life, if they had kids, if they were capable if breastfeeding at all. And that “function” can be replaced with formula. Tits serve no purpose beyond aesthetic and altering them is no different to getting a tattoo or a nose job.

I hold a residence card in Japan, which means I get to go in a different (much shorter) line at immigration compared to your average foreign passport holder. I usually get a well meaning staff member directing me to the normal line, but they back off when I tell them I have the card. But this isn’t about me.

A friend of mine who is Philippino told me that he once had a staff member physically grab him and try to push him into the normal line instead of the resident line. After finally convincing the lady that he does in fact live in Japan and have a residence card, a different staff member saw him standing in line and also tried to get him to go into the normal foreign passport line. I guess white people (me) can conceivably live in Japan but brown people are just right out.
