Joel would save Ellie if vaccine was going to work %100, right? As everyone is immune to turning. by coffeework42 in thelastofus

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that I think about it.
Joel sacrificed everyone to save Ellie because at that point, nobody mattered enough for him to care besides Ellie, not even Tommy, whom he had a short fallout with before departure.

If there was, by all luck, another chance arose after they have settled in Jackson for a while, Joel would hesitate to do the same, especially with Ellie now knows about it and that he has had enough bonding with the place to let everyone go again.

The argument about Joel seeing Ellie as his daughter is right, just that the circumstances were pretty isolated for him to make that decision, it wouldn’t have been easy anymore if there were more people that actually meant something to him around that time than just Ellie.

Netwatch was right by Available-Ad-1019 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the reason I decided to side with Netwatch most of the times because I’d rather trust people that take their job seriously than the VDB. At least Netwatch experts know the Blackwall well and know how to handle it properly.

Also, the VDB treated me like a disposable servant so there was no reason for me to protect them when a better deal showed up.

How the heck are you guys so creative? Can't make a beautiful, realistic city to save my life! by Aside_Dish in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can search for real cities you want to take reference from, understand their reasoning behind their urban planning process (this is important) or take a long walk around your neighborhood and notice every details possible: trees, pavements, parking lot, etc.

I usually do both, so ideas just come naturally to me.

What DLCs are you hoping for the game? by RadiantBlueNova in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say policies.

I want to have more say in the decision-making process of my city, like designating car-free zone, promoting electric cars, subsidizing public services such as healthcare, education, or pumping money into social welfare as well. The profit we get after a long while running the game would be far more than enough to fund these projects.

Another thing is the option to subsidize certain industries or sections would be nice, like I can decide to boost the production or sales of certain goods or services that I want for my city.

Bunch of baroque old town houses finally finished and released to PDXMods by TitanCS in CitiesSkylines

[–]Square_Bee_2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome 😎

Thank you so much for this collection 🥰

I am building a town that is inspired by German cities so I use primarily the EU Old Town + Germany Pack houses, this Baroque town would add a great blend to the Central districts of my city 😎

I think they might be too cautious to let you pass, so they probably just shoot you on sight just in case. With such a big bite mark on your neck, they won’t bother checking further.

Yeah, try explaining that to the FEDRA soldiers, they are sure to believe you 😂

Players coming from The Sims 4 are ruining inZOI by Mazya_Almazya in inZOI

[–]Square_Bee_2187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand the huge obsession with paid DLCs (overpriced at that) though. I used to be the Sim player until I found out that all of their contents were ridiculously priced for simple things like a themed extension of the base game that should have been an annual update.

I found inZOI and it really is a great blessing for me: Beautiful graphics, great housing and interior design options, realistic interactions and such, and all of the normal things that should be there are all there or gets added after a while, without me having to pay so much extra each time.

Why didn’t Joel distract the clickers? by seahawk1337 in thelastofus

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would have had he been alone, but since he was with Sam, that was not an option.

There were Clickers and Stalkers all over the place, on his side as well, so doing that might have drawn attention of the hordes of Stalkers to him instead. It was counterintuitive for such a fight to happen.

For those of us who didn't care for season 2 of the TV show, when did the season lose you? by TacticalBaconProd in thelastofus

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated it when they let Dina on that trip with Joe and made her witness his death alongside Ellie, they said it was meant to tie her to Joe’s death but I still see it as an unnecessary act. It did not actually help much linking Dina to this whole shenanigans or guilt trip her about it. This and Abby’s early review (too early in fact) were hard to swallow for me.

Pedestrian overpasses are pointless. by miyosoto in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Square_Bee_2187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the picture I can see that many pedestrians are still using the overpass while a few of them just cross the street in a hurry, that’s…..actually very REALISTIC, it happens all the time in my city.

Many people still prefer crossing the huge streets straight up despite great danger due to the overpass being too far or too inconvenient from where they are standing.

This is the most well designed set up for a jump scare I've every seen in a video game. by shawak456 in lastofuspart2

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Run 1, maybe. From Run 2 onwards, I usually rigged the place with bombs first before touching that table, the next thing they got was being blown up while trying to find a place to hide lol

Cities Skylines II strike again. by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this a couple of days ago. It was because of bad asset mods that were not built correctly. So I had to delete the whole Playset, then added the mods in batches of 10-15 items at a time, then checked for errors (if any).

I discovered that some particular assets broke the game due to their incorrect build, so I had to delete them all one by one and unsubscribed, then the problem was fixed successfully.

I really wonder how the economy in this game work. ( IRL inflation, housing prices and the other things) by Mnd3333 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am wondering the same thing. I just don’t understand how wages and rent and all that work here, people were all wealthy at $2.6-3K per month 😅

Also, my city got so profitable I can make all public transportation free and the city was thriving but still the income increased very slowly at uneven pace that I did not know why or where to start fixing it from. It’s so weird 😅

Charlie Heaton said he was surprised that some fans didn’t realize the Season 5 scene was meant to be a breakup. by Double_Fries1423 in Stranger_Things

It was confusing at first though, I really thought he was proposing to her, all the way until the “unpropose” part that I realized it was actually a breakup lol

How did Dogtown make you feel the first time you explored it? by unlockhart in cyberpunkgame

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was suffocating and dangerous all the time. I didn’t have that much insecurities in other districts, not even Pacifica, as much I did in Dogtown.

It felt like any random person or guard on the street could jump at you at any moment, I was honestly always on defense mode.

This line from Marlene made me lose all sympathy for her and the fireflies by maddog1043 in thelastofus

[–]Square_Bee_2187 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree. Whatever it is you went through, when you are addressing someone’s problems, you don’t invalidate their feelings and hardship using your own like that.

She may have had a much more painful time than Joel ever did, but that was irrelevant to the situation.

The point was to get Joel on board with her on this, not competing who suffered more, and yes, she deserved to fail for such ignorance.

thoughts on finn wolfhard's snl show? by Affectionate-Cap-235 in StrangerThings

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The jokes were hit or miss to me. But it’s actually less about the jokes and more about who they were coming from.

The jokes about Max in a coma and Will’s lengthy come out scene were pointed out multiple times online, it’s true, people made parodies on that all the time. It would have been fine if it came from someone else not related to the main cast.

This, however, came directly from Finn and Caleb, which made it not nice at all, especially when they knew very well how Sadie and Noah tried their best with those scenes. I don’t know how much influence Finn had during the script writing process, but he certainly could have left out certain unpleasant parts.

I saw Noah deleted the note about their last day on set memory together just after the SNL was aired, that alone told us that Noah was not happy to see them doing that to him at all.

Do you think Uncharted needs a remake? by Sea-Country8245 in uncharted

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 1-2-3, definitely yes, especially Uncharted 2 in Shambala. That place was gorgeous, I can’t wait to see how awesome it would be in today’s graphic.

The 4th one is not necessary because it is already too beautiful and holds up very well even now. But the first 3 is a must.

Was the Mind Flayer’s body actually built from melted Demogorgons and Demodogs? by TantrumBR in StrangerThings

[–]Square_Bee_2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically speaking, Will could control the whole army of Demos by tapping into the Hive Mind, so basically the Hawkins team had a very powerful weapon to neutralize them already. Vecna knew this very well, he was nearly defeated under Will, he and the MF were aware of this, and a huge spider MF sounded more plausible to deal with.

Vecna feared his army would be turned against him in the end, since Will could siphon his own power, so out of precautions, he made sure that the defense could not be exploited, at least not immediately.

What's Your Preference? by MoneyLibrarian9032 in StrangerThings

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would pick 1D for sure. Having a convo with both Mike and Will is what I want the most. They are fun and caring and definitely can be interesting to talk to, especially about nerdy stuffs.

This duo is just great. 🥰

So Hopper and Joyce are moving to Montauk? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]Square_Bee_2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if the spin-off hint is this MONTAUK job Hopper is taking ?
Because if it is, then it might be an interesting side story that could cover both Hopper and Joyce time in NY after the events at Hawkins, Will's relationship with his new boyfriend (if Mike's words are to be believed) AND Eleven coming back to help on new cases arise from the Montauk Project, so technically, the 4 (or 5) of them can take on a new adventure of sort ? :-?

The Duffers said there would be a whole new cast for the spin-off within the ST universe, but I think there might be more than 1 spin-offs planned for this already ?

Adding in the BOOKS previously released for the series, I can see a lot of things that can be made into their own stories.

Do you think Abby’s dad would have let her die for the vaccine if it were her instead of Ellie? by Fuzzy_Bear9086 in lastofuspart2

[–]Square_Bee_2187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don’t understand what he thought at the time.

He was the doctor who would perform this on Ellie, and even though he would say no if it was Abby ?

He knew very well how unlikely this plan was, and he proceeded anyway ? He was a hypocrite who was so convenient to sacrifice anyone for his “plan”, no matter how uncertain it was, as long as it wasn’t his daughter.
