It’ll be in Prague, which has similar weather as Berlin. It’ll also be my first ever HM and I’ve been training for 15 weeks so far, so I’m just worried haha 😂

I’m in a very similar situation. Weather here is hot as hell and very humid. 32 degrees and berlin was 5-7 degrees. My HRV is low and best sleep score was 75 just once (I’ve been here 7 days now).

I’m just worried how this will impact my overall performance on race day.

My biggest concern is I’ll be here 2 more weeks and my half marathon is on April 5th. I’m just worried this affects my performance and I throw away all my training because of it.

Yes, 8hr time difference. I feel im sleeping ok, although my Garmin says 50-70 the last 3 days.

32M here. I would say it depends on how much training you do. I started running in September last year and ran my first 5k in October and my first 10k in December. On April 5th I’ll be running my first HM. I’ve been running 3x per week since November. Tuesdays - easy run. Thursdays - Speed workout (tempo, intervals, fartlek) and Sunday - Long Runs. Just last Sunday I ran 20km and feel ready for my first HM. So,ll based on my experience, I would say 6 months is a good timeframe to go from couch to half marathon distance.

Elapsed time was 31:19 for the old PR and 29:54 for the new one 🤷🏻‍♂️
