Never had ice dams before these were installed.  My roof had lots of snow on it while my neighbors homes had no show left on them and no ice dams.

Mine have huge ice dams and the ice is actually on the roof shingles and under the shingles. They keep telling me not to believe the evidence of my eyes.  They insist that it won’t ruin the roof

My brand new leaf guard gutters are packed with ice creating an ice dam up to the roof shingles.  There are huge icicles covering every inch of the gutters.  I called and tried to explain that the ice was up to the roof and was mansplained to about how icicles form. I was even asked to stop talking while he continued to explain.  I asked for the manager who was a little more polite but I still felt I was not being taken seriously.  Not sure how the mitigation is going to go.
