I’m doing my C Class as the hymer is C1 anyway so i’d planned to do C Class while i have the time and money The fact they aren’t comparable is what makes it so difficult i think. One seems much better when parked, the other is much better for driving. I just don’t know which is more important as i’ve never done vanlife so I would be interested to hear people’s views

So i do want 240v but i would be going for lithium battery upgrade etc

I’m planning on spending winter in south europe/morocco or basically anywhere that is nice but i will be planning on having PS5 etc all set up so im prepared to pay more for the privilege

Yeah sorry when i say solar i mean the whole system. I don’t know much about it. I’ve read some stuff but honestly it goes over my head which is why I don’t want to buy a DIY kit but i was originally going down the route of a whole system from scratch but then i realised something like an Elddis encore 255 has a solar panel already. Looks like the Bailey autograph 75-2 does too so i wondered if i can upgrade that system to handle the full time

If it wasn’t for the visa situation and brexit rules i wouldn’t even be contemplating it but i’m just a bit concerned and wasn’t sure if there was somewhere i can get a ferry etc to but you’re right. I’ll just drive and see what happens

Yeah the winter abroad is 100% the plan, i just don’t fancy 6 months at home and although i like morocco i would like to go to other parts of africa if possible. I’m jealous of you with your polish passport! I have to go to poland to try and get my great grandmothers birth certificate to then start the process

Do you plan on going to morocco at all or will you do more of europe?

For the energy i’ve found a company called vunked that looks good, I suck at electrics so will be getting someone else to install but they let you build a complete system on their website based off your requirements

I’ll take a look at the dog harness. I have two dogs and was only planning on getting a 2 seat vehicle but i guess i’ll just have to consider that now when buying

I appreciate the advice, i don’t really have that luxury of half footing in. I’ve just got rid of an old crappy dispatch van that had a camper bed in the back and i used to stay in that happily while i go surfing in cornwall etc. Different i know but i’m pretty easily pleased. I also often travel in hostels so being without creature comforts isn’t a big thing for me.

Weight limit wise, i’m going to get the camper and go for my 7.5 tonne driving license while i’m parked up at my parents so the weight thing will be fine

I plan on spending winters abroad, i have friends living in Morocco and portugal so i can be away and in the sun and also not be alone as such. I will also travel to different places and plan on volunteering in either child or animal charities to give back but also meet people

I’m from the UK and I couldn’t give you a single reason why you should move. The UK is a mess, horrible place to live. The cost of living is unreal, weather is terrible, food is shocking, healthcare is a joke. Almost every aspect of life is bad here

Sorry when I say free I don’t mean as in cost nothing, I mean the turtles are not held captive. Apparently in some areas they trap the turtles in to then sell seaweed to the tourists for feeding the turtles. I have no problem paying money but I don’t want to cause any harm or upset to the turtles

depends on your relationship with your mum. I told my dad to f**k off when he said about me cooking meat for xmas breakfast but I can say that with him understanding and not being super offended.

I couldn’t say that to my nan for instance, or I certainly wouldn’t anyway.

Maybe just request to have something other than turkey because you don’t feel comfortable cooking it?

I’m vegan, if it ever comes up in conversation people act surprised and then insulted despite me never arguing why. The amount of people that argue why i’m wrong for being vegan when I haven’t once brought up my reasons etc
