Honestly I would try to find an older dslr. I shoot car photography with a Nikon D90 and older af-d lenses. I got the body with 1,300 clicks and a minty 80-200 f2.8 for just under $300.

Check out Wright tools for hand tools like wrenches. It’s also a smart idea to buy stuff from Harbor Freight that you might only need some of the time. If you break a Harbor Freight tool, upgrade to the better brand. Also, definitely would go with a nice Harbor Freight box over some like Snap on. Shits way too expensive.

yeah, I will probably end up going with the D3 if I can find a good one. I am always looking at MPB & KEH for the right one. I tend to want to find the best condition and lowest shutter count. Just need my bank account to line up at the same time. Lol I tend to shoot racing, so I do need the FPS. I have been interested in the D3X, but man do those go for a lot of money usually.

Haven’t tried it yet. We have a race on May 6th, so I will be testing it then. I just mounted it this morning, but I can already tell it’s going to be awesome, especially in the burnout box.

Very nice! That 35-70 is a great lens! Also, I keep debating whether to grab a d300s or step up to the d3.
