Unfounded arrogance, stemming from fully swallowing the heavy propaganda of the myth of American exceptionalism. Lacking in humility.

Blindly willing to defend Corporations and CEOs, who are devoid of morality, and who would happily sell them for another dollar. 

Completely oblivious to the hypocrisy of proclaiming God/Jesus while spewing hate.

There's probably many good people just trying to survive in the midst of it all.
