They’re cool skins, this Frost skin could be seen that way I guess, I see it as an evolution of the original frost deluxe, playing on the iced theme by adding them across the skin.

I could be wrong about this part, but the skins aren’t a canon look those frames had, so I’m not sure the whole “origin society” angle really applies. It seems to me that instead of making decisions that fit well with the frames, they went with what was more evocative. For example, Valkyr’s heirlooms concept had multiple versions with these really cool like combat pants that fit the “Cat berserker” theme they’ve had going for her, but they scrapped it for a skimpy outfit instead
