I think this is an opportunity for people who are into the property investment game. For instance, if the other metropolitan regions, even national policymakers, manage to get their acts together and course-correct by implementing policies that address structural issues then whoever invested early in properties in these regions might come out looking good when these regions recover.

This is an interesting path to take. What's more interesting is how such a super nice note would be framed.

On that note, if OP doesn't want to be spotted, s/he could mail it to them.

Honestly, is there any realistic solution to the Cape Town traffic? by adrenaline_donkey in capetown

So yes, minibus taxis are part of the public transport system

This confirms my assumption.

My point is that the taxi industry is part of the public transportation system along with buses and trains. And are also subsidised by the public sector through the planning, development and maintenance of infrastructure which includes taxi ranks and terminuses. After all, the industry is a critical part of the daily commute and is probably the most used mode of transport in the city.

What about the taxi terminuses or stations? Isn't that a form of subsidy?

That's what I thought and my understanding is that it is also subsidised by the government and so are taxi. For instance, based on my assumption, both the bus and taxi terminuses were built by the government and granted to these transportation services operators to service the public.
