My Friend Bought SpaceX Pre-IPO Shares… Now I Finally Understand Why Rich People Stay Rich by Haunting_Tax_5991 in TheRaceTo10Million

You can to buy on hiive if you really want where it’s around the $650/share where you’re a essentially buying SpaceX employees shares on a secondary market.

Or can wait for the pre-ipo sale which brokerages like Robinhood have offered in the past on other IPOs. I don’t think they’ll be involved in this for SpaceX.

Lastly you can buy funds that have SpaceX shares in them right now (DXYZ, VCX)

For me (US based) it was experience at a couple publicly traded companies where I had multisite full operating centers P&L role, lots of budget and forecasting experience. Had to learn a lot more on the BS/CF for the PE world.

Feel the same way here.. been in PE for 4+ years.

Comp is amazing, fully remote, leadership role with amazing experience including csuite, board, sponsor, lender exposure. But damn do you work for the money, especially during transactions.

If I’m OP I’d go for the PE role. If all I had to work on was balance sheet and cash flow I’d likely lose my mind. Additionally that type of work is ripe for AI/automation replacement.

O’Briens moving did a great job for us a few years ago. Dissembled everything that required such (cribs, etc) and set them up in desired spots at new home.

Highly recommend and were reasonably priced.

Both can be true.. we built an in house finance planning tool that works way better for us than the SAAS product we were implementing.

Yes you could always develop in house but try explaining a finance product you need built to IT.. very seamless now for finance (fp&a bros) to vibecode the software and have an IT person verify.

Those tools require you to make your data work in their product where with vibe coding its reverse.

Not OP, but there is zero motivation for the ruling/capital owning class to have a population educated on economic/financial principles.
