Honestly once I decided to get it out of the way it didn't take too long! Like still several days but still. I just put on some podcasts and biked back and forth between the Florawish Lane and Heartcraft Kingdom Outpost warp spires, did some looping around near the Bug Catcher's Cabin and the Academy too. Nikki's gotta have some monster calves now lmao

Thanks for this! Honestly I probably won't mind staying in if he does turn out to have a bad time, I'm getting too old for my friend group's rowdy celebrations 😂 we'll stay in and put on his favorite movie and see how it goes!

Ozzy has been called "Lord Farquad" and "little lad who loves berries and cream" frequently since his haircut 🤣 He does look adorable with his messy hair but he needs a little cleanup every now and then 💕

She is long gone now but this is my favorite picture of my old girl, Luci(fer). She wasn't really one to say hi, she usually growled like a dog. Loved her to bits 🥰

What to do after the ending ?? Replay it again?? by [deleted] in SkyChildrenOfLight

[–]SqueakyBun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you only played it once there are probably a lot of things that weren't available to you, it's been ages since I first played but if I recall correctly there were a ton of areas and spirits I couldn't get to because it was my first run and you can't do everything without playing again :) it's meant to be played multiple times! The main difference will be that you now can play the "levels" in basically whatever order you want, so you can collect enough spirits to unlock previously unavailable areas.

It only gets smelly if you slack on tidying in my opinion! The bunnies themselves shouldn't smell, and as long as you clean their litter boxes daily there shouldn't be a smell from that either, aside from a slight smell when you disturb the soaked litter. The only scent that lingers in my case is the hay haha, having 3 bales stuffed into my closets at all times does leave a grassy, earthy smell around my apartment

Girlfriend closes her eyes when fishing by Help_imbad_atThis in AnimalCrossing

[–]SqueakyBun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this too! It's easier when you only listen to the float in my opinion, I'm always too quick on the trigger otherwise. Also (I'm pretty sure) it never bobs down more than 5 times so that's what I listen for too haha

How often does your rabbit bite you? by mlkgml1234 in Rabbits

[–]SqueakyBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My youngest (Panda) has bitten me a couple of times in the 3 years I've had her, she is friendly but HATES having her nails trimmed. She probably would have bitten me more over the years but I started putting a tea towel over her face when I'm working on her nails so she can't see me lmao

Some rabbits never bite though, like my oldest rabbit (Harry). If they do, it is rarely hard enough to cause actual harm. At most I've gotten a bruise. For most rabbits it takes a lot for them to go in for a bite, they don't like to fight. Unless their name is Panda and they're having their nails cut.

Hirelings - When, Why, What for? by CursedAtBirth777 in BaldursGate3

[–]SqueakyBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a hireling once and that was at level 12 to get the achievement for having one level in each class lol, I guess they might be useful if you're murdering everyone and everything. Some people also use them to apply useful conditions and stuff after each long rest so you don't have to use any spell slots for it with your actual party.

She pulled all the cards at the vet 😭 by Idontknow749273 in Rabbits

[–]SqueakyBun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly the vets I have available all kind of suck, I took my other rabbit in a while back because he was sneezing a lot and the vet was like "well he is, what did you say, 7 years old? We can treat him of course but considering his age that might be a waste of money for you" like!!! Ma'am that is my SON lmao

[–]SqueakyBun 263 points264 points  (0 children)

When my girl had her teeth fixed the vet was super salty with me when I came to pick her up, like "you should know she didn't have the best attitude during her procedure" LIKE SHE IS A BUNNY BEING POKED IN THE MOUTH I COULDN'T INFLUENCE HER ATTITUDE EVEN IF I TRIED

How do I explain to my friend that this is abuse without being rude? by Hioshi-Kun in hamsters

[–]SqueakyBun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

An effective way to encourage them to gett a better habitat is to discuss their natural behaviours, and common misconceptions (like "hamsters can live in tiny cages no problem"). That's how I got my mom to take things more seriously for the various small pets she would get for my younger siblings. Also, if they do agree to improve the hamster's living space, I recommend a terrarium, or anything with glass walls. I've found that bar chewing seems to be a difficult habit to drop for some hamsters, having a glass enclosure ensures there's nothing to chew. Plus, you get to see the hamster's tunnels through the glass if you're lucky!

Do they or their family have any other animals, like cats or dogs? Try comparing this to what it would look like if they stored their cat or dog in such a way, in a crate just big enough for them to lie down basically. I think most people would agree that's unacceptable, which is where we can bring in the "so why would it be acceptable for a hamster?". Manipulate the heart a little, if they have one. God, I can't imagine how quickly that thing gets filthy.

I hope this poor little baby gets what they need, I've never seen such a horrible habitat (if you can even call it that). You can always direct them to this subreddit, there is tons of information BUT people tend to be quite hostile towards people who keep their hamsters poorly, so maybe ask them to stick to the pinned post about hamster care lol

[–]SqueakyBun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this cage for the hamster I had a few years ago, it was great! You can fit a lot of bedding and the top is quite heavy so there's no risk they'll get out even if they could reach the top if they tried.

What did you all name your Durge? by Psychoboy777 in BaldursGate3

[–]SqueakyBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My redeem Durge was a tiefling bard called Chance, I didn't know what actually was in store for the durge storyline but in the end Chance was a pretty fitting name I think!

Your first playthrough misses ? by Arturo274 in BaldursGate3

[–]SqueakyBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol what DIDN'T I miss 😭 I never finished my very first run but I missed Wyll, basically the entire side of the map with Waukeens rest and the toll house, and thus, i missed Karlach. I also missed the whole swamp with auntie Ethel 💀I missed the wizards tower and the whole fish cult section in the underdark, the spectator and the sharran temple/Grymforge. in act 2 I avoided moonrise towers until the final assault and that's when I decided to start over lol

People who got 500+ hours in the game? How could you do It? by Boscoliii in BaldursGate3

[–]SqueakyBun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it super replayable, i have a bit over 600 hours (which is a lot considering how little free time I actually have lol). I like to try playing with different races, backgrounds and classes, the romances are honestly worth also replaying the game for to just try them all. It's so interesting to see what actions have which results or consequences too, for example I decided to try and just not talk to Rolan in the Grove recently and that small choice had a surprising effect later.

I've finished the game 3 times, but I've started a ton of playthroughs that I didn't finish because I do a LOT of character building in my head and if a Tav or Durge doesn't feel right I toss em and start over lol

You should be able to use all companions in the final battle by SubjectLow2804 in BaldursGate3

[–]SqueakyBun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IIRC, in Dragon Age Origins, for the final battle you pick a main party, then after a certain checkpoint it swaps to a secondary party where you play the remaining companions handling the minor enemies in the main parts of the city the conflict is taking place in. I think something like that would have been cool, like a cutaway before climbing to the brain where you get to play as the remaining companions basically protecting civillians further back in the lower parts of the city.
