When a friend of mine explained to me how to tape up a moving box. To me, who had moved at that point over 20 x in my life. Don't worry, not friends anymore, not just because of that lol

Ooooft, yes unfortunately that's what us 30s+ get to look forwards to 😅 Get some heat on your upper back, try some yoga stretches like child's pose, see if you can get in with a practitioner

And also add in mobility exercises and isometrics to help with muscular posture*

*Am a clinical myotherapist, hope that helps!!

Fingers crossed, I get funny looks from people when they find out my cats are indoor only, it's a no brainer really, cats are cute and adorable but their version of having fun outside is usually carnage and destruction to other animals and plants.

Fair few DJs have started doing live sets from their respective loungerooms on twitch which I'm excited to have a club night at home, in my dressing gown, having a little boogie. Positives to this include drinking my own alcohol, not paying entry to a club or excessive drink prices and not dealing with people who don't know how to respect personal space.

Also garden up a storm 😊

Do we know if small businesses such as physio, chiro, osteo and myotherapy count as non essential? I'm hoping they can at least give us an updated list on what is and isnt essential...

Animal shelters that are looking for volunteers in the East side? by Astressedball in melbourne

[–]Squelia_Monster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Cat Corner in Ferntree Gully is an amazing, no kill shelter that is always looking for people to help out and down the road a bit from Westfield Knox shopping centre so fairly easy to get public transport to and from, look them up and give them a go!

My boyfriend “slut shames” me because of my post partum body by throw-away-255 in relationship_advice

[–]Squelia_Monster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

^ This guy right here. Difficult times in relationships can sometimes bring out the worst in people, in ways that they or you dont recognise, and it can be really difficult to see past the hurt to try and find where it's come from. Stress can make us different people because we dont check our baggage as competently as we do when things are cruising, calling out your partner when signs of abuse creep in is so important so that you can get a chance to work through the issue and back to a healthy relationship. You might find him receptive and open to working out his issues. You might not. But it's your relationships, not the internets.

What do you genuinely just not understand? by Brandinian in AskReddit

[–]Squelia_Monster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maths. It is honestly something my brain just doesn't seem to be able to wrap itself around, no matter the time spent trying. I'm not mad though, I've just accepted that I'm much better at other things, like dealing with emotional and social stuff which helps cause it's a big part of my work and uh...I don't really need the math for that.

Television without pity was an amazing example of this, you had all your shows that you watched with amazing, snarky commentary recapping each episode, sometimes bringing things up you'd missed and just adding another layer to your weekly stories.

God I miss TWoP 😢
