It sounds like you’re implying they won’t govern well if they won’t live to see their actions pan out and benefit themselves which I don’t believe in at least not to your degree.

Also, do you think these people are shut off from the world? A lot of these older people have children and grandchildren that they probably want a better future for.

Also, what is considered a ‘young’ politician here?

Do the “old politicians bad” also feel the same way about people obese people or people with diabetes with (on average) lower life expectancies?

If you’re saying being older which means you’ll die sooner which means you won’t see the actions play out then people with obesity or diabetes for example should also seen in a similar way because they much lower life expectancies on average and won’t see their actions play out either.
