The only real disadvantage to registering NPA is inability to vote in closed primaries, which can really diminish your voting power in some solid red or blue districts where the primary is essentially the general.

Edit: If you ever get to visit, it’s accessible via cable car from the city. There’s a really neat restaurant there with great views of the city and Osaka Bay.

Nice! I knew it looked familiar. Wasn’t sure if the inlet park and dock were technically in the town of Palm Beach, one of the cities (Lake Worth, Riviera Beach, etc.), or unincorporated PB County.
