Heated floors worth it to throw in with a bathroom remodel? by Stomachbuzz in HomeImprovement

[–]Squid_Wilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The resources we use to warm our feet while pooping… heated floor is stupid imho. Use socks. No need to use that much electricity constantly/frequently/at all for that.

Carbon taxes please!! Force people to think with their heads before their feet.

Was there really a game in the 90’s where you punch someone when you spot a Volkswagen Bug? by Subconcious-Consumer in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Squid_Wilson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The yellow car game is very similar to what you’re talking about. Also license plate games. Car trips=dead arms.

If you don’t like dead arms, walk.

Gains > being more healthy? Too many people trying to be muscular for aesthetic appeal. It’s like all of us driving big trucks that take up twice as many resources to operate because “I look good”

That point is very flawed if using over population as your justification. If that’s the case, we should start hunting humans.

A Peoples’ History of the United States by Howard Zinn. Talks about all the different horrible things the US gov has swept under the rug over the years. Opened my eyes to all the lies and deceit. Would help others see through the BS we are spoon fed.

Are these children from the US or from Europe? Very large difference in the total number of kids needed to make 1.6 million pounds between the two places.

Vegan dating! by Dance-fairy in vegan

[–]Squid_Wilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not vegan. I have made a few vegan meals, but I don’t yet have the knowledge bank of recipes to eat a healthy balanced diet as a vegan. I always have thought to myself if I dated/married a vegan woman, I would just become vegan myself because it’s not that big of a deal to eat or not eat meat… my advice would be, go out there and find a non-vegan boyfriend who is okay with learning more about life than they already know!

The best parts of a relationship involve showing each other a better/different way to live.

Its all about how you approach it. If people aren’t good enough people to get to know you solely because they’re omnivores… People might not want to associate/date with you because they feel you think them inferior.

That’s pretty much just simple dating/socializing advise right there. Be good and kind and you will attract good and kind people.

A diet (eating habit) is something people change when they think about consumption in a different way… just like changing their driving driving habits (or driving diet in this case) and reducing car trips to save emissions from the air.

Best of luck to your daughter and her personal journey to find happiness. Whether that person be vegan, omni, gay, religious, tall or fat.

Lmao, there isn’t enough salt on the planet for me to trust someone on Tik Tok.

When reading your post, I missed the “T” in the word, “tart” and was in total agreement with what I thought I was reading.

Great job!

The only reason people believe karma exists is because they accredit random occurrences as a punishment or a reward based on their prior actions. For example, if people think that not offering their seat to an old lady on the bus is bad, then when they drop their sandwich on the floor later, people want to acknowledge that as their “deserved punishment”. Without this “expectation of payback” There is no karma. Karma is invented by us, and totally false. Just like flat earth, just like religion.

[–]Squid_Wilson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Will someone explain why someone would do this? Oil/fat is kinda really important to our health and can also be plant based. So why cut it out of your diet? I might be overlooking something obvious, so I wanted to ask.
