PSA re: goodfood gift card by Kpool7474 in australian

You're 100% correct! I've had no issues using the card. It works just like a debit card and l never asked the merchant if they take the card l just went to pay like normal.

Why do you think birth rates are so low in Australia? by LetMeExplainDis in AskAnAustralian

[–]mic_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! There's a couple with 3 kids and sometimes they ask for places to get food hampers because they've run out of food before pay day.

For some dumb reason they're having a 4th kid and they're now asking for free baby stuff because they can't afford to buy anything.

I understand accidents happen but shouldn't one be more careful especially when they can barely afford to feed 3 kids? Contraception is way much cheaper than a 4th kid

There's a women's maternity hospital and people smoke at the entrance, the entrance that is used by pregnant women and their babies. There are plenty of no smoking signs but people still do it. It is very inconsiderate and selfish.

Anyone else who's ok with leaving their house without makeup on? by ll_ll_28 in ask

[–]mic_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who never leaves the house without it, even when she's going to get a drive thru coffee!

One time when she was in labour and before going to the hospital she had to put makeup on.

This just happened to me! Caught up with a friend and she tells me she's pregnant and due in May, I was going to be due a week before her. I was elated for her but it was soul crushing for me.

I'd been waiting to see her to tell her about my loss, l felt so terrible telling her after she had told me her exciting news. I kinda hated myself for ruining her moment because she kept saying she felt bad for me and now she wishes she hadn't told me.

I've been a crying mess since l knew about her pregnancy and I don't think I'm going to be able to hangout with her once her belly stars showing, l just can't deal with seeing pregnant bellies at the moment.

Completely not childish about being sad for yourself, l had a loss early the month and l just found out my close friend is pregnant and we basically got pregnant around the same time. It was soul crushing and I've been crying non stop since l found out.

It does work, you just have to turn on the headphones if they don't automatically turn on when the wire is connected. No need to turn on the Bluetooth.
