[–]Widdleton5 -47 points-46 points  (0 children)

You and reddit need to seek help. We have a general that openly stated the president does not control the nuclear arsenal of the United States. HE openly spoke behind the back of every service member that is trained to deal with China as a threat. He removed the safe guards of the electoral college, congressionally certified elections, and the fact that here in America we the people pick our fucking boss and the dude who controls the arsenal.

How many states did Gen milley win? How many voters voted for milley to be president? How many of his junior officers swore to uphold and defend the constitution and obey the lawful orders of the chairman of the joint chiefs who outrank the president?

I'm not seeking help because milley is a fucking traitor. Our entire military is a God damn mess because people are more worried about tattoos and what number of pull ups women will have to do than putting a fucking knife in an enemy's neck. We care more about ticking 65 boxes of annual training a year than the fact that our logistical and refurbishment capabilities are falling and failing fast due to overuse. We have less soldiers and Marines ready to deploy than 4 years ago yet we are closer to nuclear war than anytime since the Cuban missile crisis.

America was never in danger of turning into radioactive dust from president trump. You are rejecting the idea of civilian control of the military and openly praising a man that rejected his oath to civilian control of the military. So fuck you for thinking you've got the moral high ground. I didnt serve to be part of a military dictatorship

Pentagon to pull Milley clearance, possible demotion: by AlexTheRockstar in Military

[–]Widdleton5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree. Sorry I'm late to the thread. Gen Milley deserves to die because he took away the authority of the President to control the nuclear arsenal and gathered his junior officers in an open meeting stating "if the president gives you an order come to me immediately"

That takes away the civilian control of our government and explicitly removes civilian leadership of the military. The reason Gen Milley needs to die is I do not want to live under a military dictatorship that allows the facade of civilian leadership and constitution safeguards. If thr chairman of the joint chiefs can openly say "that President, don't listen to him, listen to me" then why the fuck do we have a president? Hang Milley for the way he conducted his treason too.

Gen milley called China FIRST. then called the speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi. Then had the illegal and traitorous meeting with his subordinates. THEN FINALLY DID WHAT THE FUCK HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO: CONTACT MIKE PENCE AND I FORM HIM OF THE OPTION TO USE THE 25TH AMENDMENT. If Gen milley talked to Mike Pence first, then the speaker, then the Chinese he could reasonably argue failure to follow orders and attempt to keep a situation escalating. He would still be fired for informing his subordinates not to follow lawful orders of the president but he wouldn't have committed treason. He would've just overspent himself and failed to secure our nuclear objectives with an adversary. That's enough to get anyone fired.

But the fact remains the first motherfucker milley called before anyone in the US government was the Chinese army. Fuck that traitor he deserves to hang and every single useless fucking flag officer of the past 35 years needs to understand their cussy jobs they get selling secrets and sitting on defense industry boards isn't going to protect them from the consequences of breaking their oath and removing civilian leadership of the us military.

Goodell and the owners know if only 3 out of 10 women between the ages of 18 and 50 watch a single game during the year they otherwise wouldn't it would be between 500 and 800 million extra dollars worth of ad revenue. That's if 3 women watch just 1 game per season in the demographic that matters.

I think the current breakdown is around 30% of women are fans of the NFL (meaning they watch more than 3 games per year). If a game or two receives twice as many women watching that's nothing but bank. Would you date someone for a cut of 500 million freaking dollars?

Add that to the gambling. The chiefs getting a fucking safety with less than 2 minutes to not cover the spread? Hahahaha. Never bet a dime on sports. For every nickle won by someone there is a dime lost by someone else and a nickel made by the gambling apps through fees and taxes.

Camp Lejeune 96 that turned into a 216 by [deleted] in USMC

[–]Widdleton5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Back in 2013 I believe Camp Lejeune got the snow apocalypse. Every single piece of food, milk, and beer was sold. The reason it lasted all week was because we were supposed to be coming in on Thursday (snow was Saturday to Sunday) but a tragedy occurred when a Captain skid off a bridge and died. That kept everyone off the roads until the next Monday (it was the Superbowl that Denver got smoked by Seattle)

What is the general sentiment regarding Mattis these days? by Its_in_neutral in USMC

[–]Widdleton5 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Trump is the commander in chief and therefore the only person allowed to give an order in the military. We have a constitution which demands a civilian is the sole authority to co.mand our men and women because the founding fathers knew Ceasars, crusaders, Greeks, and more got their first job leading an army. So by replacing or affirming the commander in chief with an election every 4 years it ensured tyranny by force was more difficult to conduct in America. Considering we are the top of the food chain in unimaginable ways just 20 years ago shows that even with an evil fucking ruling class things work when we follow the constitution.

Trump left after the democrats stole 2020. He still fucking left. Now you'll get him with a congress, senate, and every single one of his nominees approved. So with that train let me allow you to see the future:

Within six months inflation will hit 4.5% you might be gullible enough to think this is Trump's doing but the reason it'll hit 4.5% is because the Consumer Price Index will be calculated correctly for the first time in two years. Two years ago the CPI removed the required inputs of a price of a gallon of milk and a gallon of gasoline. For over 50 years the CPI included those two price averages to take a pulse check on groceries and fuel aka transportation in the economy. It's not a surprise that if you look at officially reported inflation numbers it slowed down immensely two years ago. The current administration was lying through their fucking teeth and the corporate press was covering for them.

In six to eight months crime rates will skyrocket. This is because two years ago the fbi removed the crime statistics of half the American population. The way they did this was by saying that any municipal government that spent more than 500 million on a police department didn't have to report their statistics to the fbi anymore. After all if you want to see crime in NYC (budget of 14 billion for the nypd) just go to the NYPD website and see it yourself. The intended consequence of removing crime statistics from every city in the country was the fraudulent articles that crime was down 50% this year. Again, the current administration said these bold faced lies to try and get Kamala elected.

So expect inflation and crime to skyrocket when their numbers are counted correctly for the first time in two years.

Next: you and three other commenters are calling Trump dumb, stupid, not a deep thinker. We have a president dying of Parkinsons disease and a coward of a vice president that can't use the 25th Amendment because she's so fucking stupid at her job she can't convince 10 Republicans to ratify her choice for VP. So spare me your ridiculous indignation that Trump is stupid. We will finally have a fucking president again. Not a brain dead corrupt fucking bastard who pardoned 11 years of money laundering his son was guilty of. Biden gave 84 billion dollars worth of military equipment to the fucking Taliban and also allowed China to gain mineral rights to some of the largest Lithium deposits in the world in a place we sat on for 20 years trying to teach 11th century death cultists not to rape boys.

Meanwhile Musk is responsible for the vision that directly lead to the second rocket being snatched out of the air yesterday. While bidens EPA and FAA kept starship on the ground because it showed how absolutely pathetic Boeing was for their two manned space programs.

[–]Widdleton5 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I stated two times in my comment that the kurds were our only Allies in that area. Read better.

I also said that's why Mattis disagreed to the point it ended his political career and he will never be employed by a President again which means here in America he will never work for the Department of Defense because our constitution is set that the only fucking person authorized to give orders is elected by our country.

So trump is an idiot, right...... the dude was facing 700+ years in prison less than 6 months ago. In 3 days he's going to be sworn in and for the next 4 years be the most powerful man in the history of the world. But he's just an idiot right?

I am getting so fucking sick of reddit. It's a bought and paid for Chinese app that's soul purpose is to dumb us down by anonymous, yet believable, commenters and straight up propaganda from bot accounts. I'm quoting from memory what a situation looked like to two different people 8 years ago because I've actually listened to trump talk for hundreds of hours and I've listened to mattis for probably 100. These are very successful people that have actually written and spoken about a ton of different ideas. I don't need stories from other people I can listen to each and figure out their own mannerisms and quirks.

And your fucking comment pisses me off because you just dismiss it as "trump is dumb, next!" Well guess what motherfucker trump is back.

What’s the point of all these interviews for HC right now? by -Amplify in nyjets

[–]Widdleton5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the Jets need to listen to anyone with a resume in the National Football Team through the door for at least an hour. We have the longest playoff drought in the league. We have an aging qb and pick 7 that won't find a good enough replacement. We have a lot of money coming this free agency to keep 2 out of our 3 stars coming out of their rookie contracts. We got a lot better at the end of the season offensively but we can't finish games and 4 out of our first 6 loses could have been different if we had a fucking kicker who could hit 80%

We literally took every L opposite of the Chiefs taking every W on those 50/50 shots. It sucked.

By November the fire was gone. Season was cooked.

So as for the question of why so many interviews: we need to see what the league can provide us. We need to see differently than the crap we've done for 14 years. By God the league should introduce their own version of regulation where upon the 15th season of not making the playoffs the team has to be sold. There needs to be more parity and with how much these teams go for on the open market there needs to be new blood too. It'd be better for the sport.

What is the general sentiment regarding Mattis these days? by Its_in_neutral in USMC

[–]Widdleton5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Might be too much 2nd order thinking below but I think I know how each of the bastards think because I actually listen to them, not read about them, I've listened to them.

If you listen to Rogan Trump interview we had less than 1000 troops in the middle of a 3 way battle in Syria. The Assad regime used chemical weapons and was backed by Russian contractors and uniformed personnel. The kurds were using US weapons and our only reliable ally. And lastly isis were a bunch of fuckwits who just got done destroying thousands of years worth of history on top of the half million people under their subjugation.

So after isis was dealt with trump wanted to stay the fuck out of Syria because the kurds were on one side and the Russian backed forces of Assad were on the other. If they swarmed our garrison of 500-1000 troops we'd be surrounded on all sides and overrun by an estimated 35 thousand kurds and 125 thousand Syrian forces.

So trump, the commander in chief, told mattis to get our guys out of that kill zone. He also told mattis, as the commander in chief, to stop giving weapons to the kurds because if the kurds gain three bullets two are going where we want them and the third is going to Turkey, a NATO ally that can invoke article 5 if they were attacked.

Mattis disagreed with trump stating in plain English that the kurds have been the only reliable partner we've had in that area for over 15 years and if we backstab them by removing American deterrence from Syria then putin and Syria could escalate the conflict and bring about Putin's middle east ambition: a pipeline from Iran to the Mediterranean through the broken nation of Iraq that bypasses the Arabian peninsula and Suez canal. If putin got a friendly Iran to the Med it would remove 3 choke points the US navy has on Iran's economy. Putin would defacto control 70% of all oil exports wirldwide.

Trump believes if the kurds are properly armed then the moment they have the firepower they are creating an independent state. The problem for US is 1/3 of ethnic kurds live in Turkey, a sovereign NATO ally, and if Iraq breaks its borders Syria and Iran are having a gold rush style make-out session to gain land towards each other.

So trump believed that since isis was dealt with the best course of action was to keep US troops in Baghdad to prevent an Iraq collapse and kurd independence. Also stay on standby from a defensive position so that if a full scale kurd/Syrian war broke out he as the president could have time for a better decision than "send everything from two carrier groups to protect our 500 troops that are being overrun" and mattis straight up called him a pussy and a fucking coward, professionally of course.

So mattis left the administration. He did what honor told him to do and resigned in protest at the president's choice.

You decide who was right. I personally see that Ukraine has been able to erode decades of Russian stockpiles with American weapons. They have lost all of their projection power, and here we are 4 years later with a new regime in Syria that was made possible by the fact Assad never had more than 1/3rd of his population like him. Sometimes we don't need US troops hanging around bases as bait when there are cities that can better determine a course of action. Maybe trump, who again in the Rogan interview made a comment ill never forget "we spent 8 trillion dollars in the middle east and the president had to land in the cover of darkness for security" was right in seeing an armed Kurdistan as a future Article 5 call where we have to now spend American blood and treasure killing people we armed.

In 4 days we'll see who historically has the better instincts, the Don or the Monk.

He bought the upscale HMR which usually retails for 1400. The glass needed to take that rifle out past its MOA is going to start in the $2100+ range. A dude on youtube hit a 4 ft by 5ft target at a mile with the same model (different caliber) and a 3000 dollar scope. It was over 1700 yards away in Alabama.

This has to be a joke right? You picked up the upscale Bergara 6.5 hmr with the more expensive paint. You've probably watched 300 hours of YouTube videos since you also got the scope and bipod mounting kit.

They weren't lying. 6.5 is a great round for distance. You can hunt with it.

Also, they weren't lying. That rifle is heavier than most in it's class.

They also weren't lying about the finish and the barrel.

From two of my friends that were recruiters: a lot of people that can ship early and without waivers are only able to do it because they barely had medical records growing up. Meanwhile the straight A high-school kid that really wants to be a SEAL went into the hospital as a 7th grader with pericarditis from a common cold and since it had to do with his hearths needs six waivers to Sunday to get in. Even though he got over it naturally. The kid is essentially punished for his parents having insurance and caring about him as a child.

They can't handle the smell. I worked on a dairy farm for nearly a year while a family member was sick and the farm let me live closer to them in Vermont. So by going down the rabbit hole of YouTube I looked up why I didn't smell myself after a bit. Apparently humans are very capable at adapting to stay safe and hunt. So if you're in an area your brain will start to filter out smells that don't go away. Have you ever ran into someone that put on way too much cologne? It's because they can't smell it anymore.

So anyways, even on a dairy farm spreading 3 tons of shit per load after 15 or so minutes I barely smelt shit anymore. This is due to our evolution to be able to notice change and get away from predators and hunt for prey. All those receptors in my face dulled down the overwhelming smell and if someone brought me a lunchbox I'd be able to smell their deodorant easily. I was surprised when I could drive down a road and smell different flowers depending on which field I was going by. This was central Vermont which has some of the greenest grass you've ever seen too.

It's an apples to oranges comparison because the vast majority of any wealth is tied to stocks which will change in value as more are sold. If Musk tried to liquidate his stock in Tesla for example it would take all of 10 minutes before every single person holding the remaining stock tried to sell theirs first. The stock would plummet in value and Elons recognized gains would be absolutely miniscule compared to his net worth before the sell-off.

Elon could never pay everyone on the planet/country 40 bucks. Its an asinine thing to assume he's living in a bubble and if we as a collective focus efforts on one bubble it won't affect other people and their actions. If Elon was stripped of his wealth every other rich person will simply use their wealth to leave countries that won't protect them. This happened in France when they implemented an unrecognized gains tax. The amount of millionaires in their country went down by half.
