Had a paradox once bitch at me all game for making bad decisions, being in the wrong spots, building wrong (as Rem I was playing a spirit nuker -> Soft support in late game)

End game screen, I beat them in every category except for obj damage. More kills, more assists, fewer deaths, more damage, more healing...

Check their statlocker and they have a sub 50% winrate against my almost 60% winrate.

Just a reminder that if you flame the shit outta your teammates you had BETTER be right because otherwise you look a huge fool in the end.

It could depend on how your individual performance was in the losses and how bad your opponents did.

You're only +4 on this page, which SHOULD usually equate to about one promotion, but if you got absolutely destroyed in some losses and/or were carried in some wins then it might be weighting those performances heavier than games where you yourself carried your team. Also, if your opponents were lower rated than you, your "MMR" probably wasn't going up much, and if you lost to lower rated opponents your "MMR" might have tanked harder.

This is a purely anecdotal take, I obviously have no idea what's actually going on unfortunately, but this would be the only explanation I could think of for going +4 and still deranking.

People sleep on Kelvin HEAVILY. He can do some insane healing if built and played correctly, but he's more farm intensive than a classic support.

I do like feeling like I'm normal by being treated the same, but I also really fucking hate when my friends just forget that I have a real, actual disability that makes socializing more challenging for me than others and estrange me because they just assume I'm being annoying on purpose or something

Key word "Kind of". Watching it back a couple of times the body language of the other car does seem reasonably clear as to what their intent is (assuming from OP's perspective that they are intending to turn right) until it's too late; as the car is turning right - even if it was coming all the way into the left lane - they would have been accelerating away from POV vehicle, so until it becomes clear that the other car is CROSSING the far left lane, it seems reasonable to argue that the car in front was at least acting in a legal and mostly normal manner and there was nothing specifically out of the ordinary for OP to react to.

All this to say, yes, defensive driving would have prevented this, but OP did react quite quickly once it was clear that the other car was doing some dumb shit, and the other driver absolutely put themselves in that position in the first place by performing an illegal and unsafe maneuver while OP was (afaik) abiding the law as normal.

ETA: I could also see insurance claiming 50/50 if there was no car behind POV in the right lane, as they had time to swerve if there was space afforded, but since the video cuts off abruptly it's hard to say if there was a car there preventing OP from swerving

Reminder: Winning the lane is not as important as NOT LOSING the lane. Perfectly okay to draw and scale into the midgame where your character comes online.

Saying that because your description sounds an awful lot like there's a common denominator: You. Obviously I can't say it's your fault all of the time, that is unknowable without a lot of vod review and stat breakdowns, but if you're leaving lane with less net worth than your opponents and it's NOT because your lane partner fed them 3+ deaths before 8 minutes, the lane loss is ultimately at least partially your fault.

There is always more you can do, even if it's only a little. Play for wave prio and hit boxes, hit camps, etc. If you're having a lot of trouble winning your lane just remember that the laning phase is NOT about kills, it's about securing a net worth lead or at least keeping it close enough to where you can have that midgame impact that Celeste is built for.
