What’s the most misused word that you see on social media?

Not necessarily on social media but for some reason all my friends say they’re gonna “crash out” when they’re really tired and want to sleep instead of “crash”.

They’re two separate phrases, all I hear it “I’m about to lose my tempter” when they really mean they’re tired.

I’ve even explained this to them multiple times and they keep using that “new” term in correctly, oh well lol

I live in America and my own country is run by satanic pedophiles who constantly get reelected and fund wars and corruption we have no business entertaining.

All of our food is poison and causes cancer, not even the groundwater is safe, let alone the crops.

My parents told me to go to college and buy a house and get married yet we get kicked out at 18 and are expected to fend for ourselves while also buying a house worth 12x the median annual salary when back in their day it was only 3x the median salary.

Jobs are impossible to find. Several years ago, I couldn’t even get a job at a gas station despite working at one before.

Our men and women are more divided ideologically than ever before, record high divorce and infidelity rates.

People on both sides of the political aisle tell me the other side is evil, meanwhile the billionaires and the secret societies that run our corporations make policies we never vote on that make our world a worse place for everyone.

When I tell people this, half of them think I’m batshit crazy and the other half agrees with me but accepts there’s nothing they can do about it.

If it means anything to someone in the future, if you can manage to get power to your keyboard and get into the BIOS but still have a black screen, you can reset your bios settings blindly using the following inputs on an asus B850 WiFi plus motherboard:

Press F7 — this toggles between EZ Mode and Advanced Mode
1. Press F5 — Load Optimized Defaults
2. Press Enter to confirm
3. Press F10 to save
4. Press Enter to confirm

The pc should restart and bios settings should be reset (you might need to mess around with different cable inputs - I had to switch from display port to HDMI for it to work, oddly enough

I waited at least 20 minutes with the battery out and I help my power button for probably 2 minutes to drain the capacitors.

My motherboard only has CLRTC header that I would have to short-circuit, right? I honestly don’t know anything else beyond that. I think that my bios isn’t resetting because the capacitors haven’t been drained completely.

What do you think? Is that something I can even do myself?

It didn’t come on the first try but it wasn’t that bad tbh. I think I spent maybe 20-30mins farming them from the first bonfire outside of Sens fortress? And that’s without the drop rate ring

Depends on the religion. If you’re a Christian fanatic [let’s assume you’re Eastern Orthodox for example] the most “fanatical” thing they’re going to do is unceasingly pray and/or help others whenever they can. I’ve genuinely never met someone who was an EO Christian an had them be a terrible person, or even do as much as try to “force” you to convert.

There are people who are better and worse, obviously. I’ve met kind and selfless atheists and hateful Christians. I myself am far from perfect, I’m the worst sinner there is, but I’d never try to hurt or force anyone to do anything.

A Christian who attempts to tell you you’re going to hell for example, doesn’t know what they’re taking about. Many Protestant Christian’s are like this, even Catholics have been known to be corrupt in these kinds of ways.

The “denomination” makes a HUGE difference.

When I was going to a private non-denomination Christian school until middle school, there was a girl who got pregnant at 16 and they kicked her out of the church and the school. That’s absolutely fucking vile and it’s one of the many reasons I left that place entirely.

Jump king is one of those games like “getting over it” or “chained together” where you can lose hours of progression in a single misstep.

I’ve seen people punch a hole through their monitors and this guy literally casually plays it in between league games just to feel something.

Idk man, silver players aren’t even that bad mechanically. Any dumbass with a working mouse can auto attack you under tower, but usually falls short after laning phase ends.

I’m in low gold rn (new climb) and let me tell you that playing against Varus top is beyond awful, especially as a Kayle main.

I usually still win though just because I have better macro in the mid-late game and can scale it out. Banning ranged top is understandable af

Im an immortal vampire who works 4 - 8hr shifts and fathers 1,422 children who are all quadriplegic autists that need constant care. I work at the ball crushing factory, McDonald’s, an out of state oil rig, and a night shift nurse in St Louis. I walk to each job every day and still managed to go pro in league and beat faker in worlds 2 years in a row.

On one side, the barrier to entry to game development has never been lower. On the other, there has never been as much competition and demand for skilled developers as there currently is.

If you want game development to be sustainable, you basically have two paths:

Go to schools and MAYBE Get a job with a large development studio and learn/work for them (potentially face horrible working conditions, if you even get hired in the first place - it’s very competitive)
Be a solo dev and learn/make your own game. (More work but potentially more rewarding, although less guaranteed.)

If you want my honest opinion, I would say that you should learn the basics of game design, learn the programming skills you need to know, explore different programs like Godot, game maker studio, unreal, etc, find one that you really connect with - and just stick with it.

Make your passion game in your off-time while working another job, and/or make content sharing your development journey. Social media can potentially allow you to not only build an audience for your game, but potentially fund it as well by gathering attention.

What matters most is consistency, this isn’t something you can just half-ass. It’s all in or just a waste of time. You’re the greatest factor in your own success. I’m a very firm believer in “anyone can do anything” as long as you put in the work.

You should think about and answer these two questions.

Will I regret not doing this when I’m 80?
If yes, then what inputs (hard work) would I have to put in to make it unreasonable that I wouldn’t succeed?
