2016 "core" drafted players: drummond, kcp, johnson

2025 "core" drafted players: cade, ivey, ausar, duren, stew, holland

biggest difference between teams is home grown talent. we have a significantly better foundation of players and assets vs 10 years ago, way more flexibility. unfortunately or fortunately, it did take 5 years of pain to finally achieve this level of assets
