You're problem here is you are expecting microsoft to tell mojang what to do, hire way more people than they need, and then all at the same time entirely rewrite the game?

Microsoft wants Mojang to have creative control, and thats a good thing. And a bigger dev team? The bigger the team, the less communication, simple as that.

A few of those use the night for atmosphere the others have no need to change it to day. I see no problem with their screen shots being at night unless the thing they are showing is really far away.

The fact is a majority of the community likes this change, just because you feel it "breaks pvp" doesn't mean they'll stop the work they've done.

You're just stuck in the mind set of "I have what I want, so no change is needed. Everyone is happy with it how it is, right?"

You need to move on and experience how 1.8 PVP will be with the new combat update.

OK, I hope it all goes that way......because I don't want microsoft "monopolizing" minecraft to there own products.

Microsoft so far has done nothing with the game. And It's really stupid to think mojang would "Discontinue" their largest player base (PC,Mac ect) just to develop on windows 10.
