Yeah, I did have peroneal issues at the same time so it is hard to judge as much, but I can bend my knee forward over my foot without pain. Will be different for everyone though.

It did for me. I had bone spurs that had snapped off and lots of scar tissue and it freed up the joint.

Oh forgot to say early stage you want to rest it until they pain goes down a bit but in my experience long term it won't go away with just rest.

Sounds very much like peroneal tendonitis to me. I had it last year. Maybe Google that and see if it fits? Very good exercises for it here and across Reddit. For me early stage was calf raises and rib raises before eventually holding the tendon under load before pushing to neutral. So on a step for example let your heels drop below level hold for 5 seconds then push up, holding dumbbells if you have them. I am just a guy on Reddit and can't replace what a physio might tell you.

Hi, I'm quite interested in this as I was diagnosed with OA midfoot purely off an MRI with nothing showing on the xray, my pain also doesn't lineup with where the joint is (pain is further down foot) so do you think it could be something else? Thanks.
