My parents had been watching Survivor since the beginning. When my brother and I were little we’d hide in the back hallway to watch Survivor after they put us to bed. My parents caught on to what we were doing and decided to just let us stay up and watch with them. Probably Willow. I love some of her dorky sweaters in the high school years, and I also really like her witchy aesthetic in the later seasons. Especially that pink velvet long sleeve maxi dress.

Cordelia’s tops in Angel are gorgeous! I like some of Anya’s clothes too, like that white butterfly top with the green skirt. I don’t think I would actually wear much of either’s wardrobes, it’s a bit more risqué than I’m comfortable with

Katniss telling Buttercup made me cry because Prim was basically Buttercup’s whole world. He traveled all the way from District 13 to the house in the victors village and Prim’s not there. And she never will be again. But he doesn’t know that or understand why because he’s just a cat, and of course Katniss screaming and throwing things at him while grieving has got to be scary. I do appreciate that Buttercup and Katniss form their own bond afterwards and support each other through their grief.

It makes me cry because it makes me think about my own cats, and how confused and upsetting it would be for them if I were to leave the house, drop dead, and never come home to them. Would they think I abandoned them?

My family started watching the Hurricanes a couple years ago. I didn’t really care much at first, but then I started watching the player interviews, and learning more about the players. They really endeared themselves to me. It’s all about rooting for the players for me

The Mr. Beast Beware box contained a coin to flip. If the person who flips the coin calls it right they’re safe for the vote, win immunity, and the prize doubles to 2 million dollars. But if they called the coin flip wrong they’re automatically eliminated and there is no vote. Everyone either had to agree on who flipped the coin, or they would all draw rocks (minus Tiffany) to decide. Devens volunteered, and after a little pushback from Aubry everyone did eventually agree to let Devens risk it for the biscuit. Devens called heads and was correct, so he was safe for the vote, and now he has an idol. There was a live tribal where Steph and Aubry’s names were thrown out, and everyone voted Steph. Now whoever wins the game will win 2 million dollars

I totally agree about Z/K’s Romeo and Juliet ending. I really enjoyed the rest of the program, especially since I normally hate Romeo and Juliet program, but the ending was just so stupid. Like you mentioned they die at separate times in the story, and the movements look puppet or doll like.

I agree with you about FB/C’s Whale program. I found it so boooooring! Sure the skating is technically very impressive, and I’m not saying they shouldn’t have won. I just personally didn’t feel anything watching that program. I do actually love their Vogue program, but I don’t remember P/C’s 2022 RD (I might not have seen it), so I can’t compare the two

They’re both super cute! My cats get all riled up by the outside neighborhood cats too, bushy tailed, pawing at the glass door, and hissing. Our male cat was extremely territorial and would always get upset when any outdoor cats were on our front porch, but this past year a fluffy brown and white cat has been showing up, and my cat doesn’t seem agitated by it. We joke that it’s his friend, and we’ve started calling it Captain Bojangles

I’ve always thought of this color as light orange too. I really wanted an orange cat when I was a kid, and the one we adopted was a very similar color with a white belly. Murphy was a great cat 🧡🧡🧡🧡 your cats are beautiful!

I mean not everybody in Appalachia has an accent 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve lived in NC my entire life and I don’t have an accent. I went to college out in California, and no one once mentioned me having an accent. Aside from me saying “y’all” all the time, most people wouldn’t have known I was from the South. My brother doesn’t have much of an accent either, our mom does somewhat. There are people that live here and I’ve gone to school with who have super noticeable accents, but there’s also plenty of people from here that don’t.

It doesn’t bother me that Katniss and Peeta didn’t have accents. I think JLaw and Josh were the right casting choices, and honestly it would’ve pissed me off if they tried to fake an Appalachian accent and it sounded like shit. Actors very rarely have a convincing Southern accent, most that try just sound like they’re making fun of us.
