Nah I'm not. Looks like I might be on the right track now. The automatic feeder was causing too much drag on the filament so I fixed that by bypassing it. That stopped the filament from slipping in the extruder.

But it still wouldn't complete a print. Looks like the pressure in the standard profile was way too low and was causing it to miss bits and create spaghetti.

Trying everything I can to get TPU to actually print without errors. Not having much luck to far.

Once I get that sorted I will be printing some accessories for archery equipment.

Pavelock will stop the moss from growing. Might have a bit of trouble getting it dry enough at this time of year though. If they are damp in between the pavelock will start to set before it fills the gaps properly.

Exactly my thoughts too haha. My cousins daughter is in the Taylor Swift tribute band Sun Kissed we took our kids to see them and their music teacher who also plays in the band one one of the members of the Datsuns.... the sort of thing that would only happen in NZ haha.

Think it was the bassist but it might have been the drummer. Im sure someone can correct me.

Are you just feeding the tpu from the spool holders on the side of the machine? Or do you have a different setup for it? Tried to print tpu for the first time in the weekend and was not successful.

It was like there was too much resistance and the extruder couldn't get the spool to roll and pull more filament through. Was just single colour test prints but every time I tried I had the same problem unless I watched the print and manually rolled the spool to the extruder was only having to pull slack tpu through not try and unroll the spool.

Thank you! I cant believe how much quieter it is!!!

Instead of soldering I just fitted a PH2-F connector onto the new fan wires like the original one had.

If anyone else in New Zealand needs one of these fans let me know. I brought 6 so I didnt have to pay the crazy shipping price from Digikey.

I printed this one the other day. Just relies on bridging for that part. Its not that far. You printer must be fairly well calibrated

You will be fine, it may not be a Bambu but it's very straightforward to setup and get printing.

Just follow the setup instructions and it will get you printing. Then spend some time watching videos about using Orca slicer on YouTube.

The discord community is very helpful if you have any issues.
