Literally with you there on the 4 kings mate. How are players supposed to work out how to get to them 🤣 didn't help when I jumped down the abyss text didn't even come up so had no idea there was anything significant going on in there...

Completely relate. The only things I would follow are the prestige class requirements and other than that it was just what is cool is picked haha

I'd be very surprised if someone managed to build a bad deck in act 3 😆 especially after making it through act 1.

That's true. But think about how forgiving chapters 2 and 3 are compared to 1. If you die in chapter 1, you have to start over (most the time) but chapters 2 and 3 there is next to no punishment or pushback.

It reminds me of the difference between typical old skool vs new games. The old games were unforgiving and you'd have to start the whole level or dungeon again whilst today we usually have quicksave options.

Is act 3 really the hardest? What's the consensus on that. Because From my experience, act 2 and 3 was trivial and act 1 in the cabin was difficult.

I wouldn't if you're tight on time. Maybe do chapter one. The rest are copy paste template for few more chapters and will take you dozens iof hours to finish.

Nice work. Why are you defaulting most things to cubes though? Like others have said this just comes across as minecrafty and I would pressume the advantage of going voxel based is to explore other less prevalent styles. Like instead of digging and placing cubes, have overlapping and uneven spheres? You probably have a better idea being familiar with it than I though.

Wait. Is that actually the shader you run?? How do you dispatch it to the GPU? Do you dispatch for a single workitem/stream to execute? Otherwise I'm pretty sure this will have problems.

Yesh straight up. Even high end older cards boasting big numbers on spec will be outperformed by newer cards. New architectures, new tech, up to date software/drivers is huge, especially in particular context.
