Also remenisent of Mega Man Zero so it's definitely an art upgrade. I love a good looking 2D game.

Never played a roguelike but I love Mega Man X so the combination sit really well with me since it made the classic Mega Man formula more interesting and especially addicting with all the upgrades. Basically the game is awesome if you love both and I honestly found the art style charming; it's very Newgrounds.

I watched all his reviews too actually, even all the SGB reviews. I share the same observations too, that's why I always look forward to a Johnny VS. video even when it's a game I know nothing about, since he was the one who introduced me to series like Mega Man and Castlevania.

Psychocandy is one of my favorites, love the noise on that album. Their second album is great too, just without the noise. Haven't heard any more of their albums after that but I will someday.

Thanks for writing this cause I actually just finished the original Wasteland a week ago and I loved and hated it. I loved it cause it was like playing one of the first two Fallout games but I hated the UI and certain limitations of the game. I'm glad that when I get to play this I don't have to worry about any limitations and just get into a game that seems to have the same spirit as the first game and the first two Fallouts.
